Pressed by Fortnite and PUBG, Valve turns Counter-Strike: Global Offensive into a free-to-play game and adds a battle royale game. The new mode of play is called Danger Zone and can hold up to 18 players. The mechanics are almost identical to those in PUBG and Fortnite. Players must gather equipment and weapons, and the map narrows as the game advances. There are also drones that throw which packages with different special items. A round of Danger Zone takes about 10 minutes and you can participate either solo or in teams of two or three people.

Those who have already bought the game receive free upgrade to the Prime version, which offers an exclusive matchmaking system and various skin skins. CS: GO can be downloaded for free from Steam and system requirements are very small: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom X3 8750, 2 GB RAM and DirectX 9 Pixel Shader 3 compatible video card with a minimum of 256 MB of VRAM.
