KEPY™
The Huawei brand's fast charging system came hand in hand with the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Only available for a few models, now the company is preparing a new protocol to extend it to its high-end mobiles (beyond its flagship). The 40W SuperCharge 2.0 system is capable of fully charging a 4200 mAh battery in just 60 minutes, and we could see it in the two models that received this improvement, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and the Honor Magic 2. A leaked document has unveiled the new fast charging system prepared by the company that shares some of the specifications of SuperCharge 2.0, but with half the amperage and therefore power. In the lower image provided by the web ChargerLab can be seen the comparison with previous systems of fast loading. According to this information, the next Huawei mobiles that carry this fast charging system would have a charger that would operate at a voltage of 10 volts and 2 amperes of intensity, generating a power of 20W. These figures suppose a smaller effort on the part of the battery during the load of the mobile, and the same would happen with the cables that could be thinner. The SuperCharge 2.0 system stayed on the company's flagships, but it is expected that as this new system is less powerful, it will be aimed at high-end models. What is not yet known, but it seems unlikely, is the option to charge other devices with wireless charging as if it does the Mate 20 Pro The date on which this new fast charging system will be presented is not yet known, nor with what mobile it will be compatible. The rumors point to the launch of the pair of Huawei P30 phones in which the P30 model would use the 20W charger and the P30 Pro would have the 40W.
