Exploded Samsung smartphone maimed the child.

You probably remember the scandal with exploding Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones, which broke out in 2016 and led to a complete recall of the model from the market. It turns out that not only Note 7 can explode, but also one of its progenitors — the Galaxy Note 4.
The accident involving this gadget occurred in China in March last year, but it became known only now, after the father of the injured baby filed a lawsuit against the company in the amount of $250 000. The smartphone exploded in the hand of a five-year-old girl, causing second-degree burns. At the moment, the Chinese office of Samsung offered the family of the victim only $1500 for the treatment of the child.
