If you bought a computer last Christmas, it is possible that it was an HP or an HP Omen, the brand that has managed to distribute more computers during the whole 2017 course worldwide according to data from the IDC firm, and exceeding for the first time in the last four years to the Chinese company Lenovo. Although during the last quarter the PC sales market has grown by 0.7% compared to the same quarter of the previous year, PC sales taking into account the whole year have experienced a decrease of 0.2% compared to 2016 . The economic recovery, where the public already looks less at the price of the system, and the good performance in general of the HP computers, has caused that the North American signature has managed to distribute 58.8 million computers in 2017, against 54.8 millions of Lenovo. A little further down is Dell with some distributed of 41.8 million units and Apple with 19.6 million. The sale of HP computers has achieved an increase in its volume of 8.2% over 2016, Lenovo has experienced a decrease in sales of 1.2%, while Asus remains in decline with 10.6% compared to the previous year . Highlight the significant growth of Apple with Mac sales that reach 19.6 million units distributed and an increase of 5.9% in volume. It should be noted that they are not official data of each of the companies, but data handled by IDC. The official data of each company will supposedly be announced in a few months with the presentation of the different financial results of the last fiscal year.
