OyaYansa
The US president had previously charged on numerous occasions against the agency, in whose former director James Comey focused criticism US President Donald Trump has called the FBI "corrupt" today for having used a dossier paid in part by the campaign team of the Democratic candidate in the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton, to investigate his alleged connection with Russia. "They used this garbage pile of Dishonest Hillary as the basis to go against the Trump Campaign!" The president said in his social network account Twitter. Trump has also described the dossier as "false" and explained that the FBI could not verify the accusations that are presented there about the alleged coordination between his campaign and the Russian government. Last October, the Washington Post reported that the Clinton campaign and the Democratic Party itself had funded the leaked investigation after the elections about possible links between Trump and the Kremlin. In this line, a Trump campaign advisor, Michael Caputo, has praised the president's tweets about the FBI on Tuesday, and described his criticisms of "security policy" against the possible politicization of his investigations. "The president's tweets are a security policy for Americans to ensure that law enforcement organizations remain impartial," Caputo said in an interview with CNN. Trump had previously charged numerous times against the FBI, in which former director James Comey focused criticism. The president ceased Comey last May, following his investigation of the alleged links of his campaign with Russia in the 2016 presidential election.
