At the moment, it seems that Intel retains the first place in sales, although with more and more problems to keep at bay its main competitor. The successful launch of the new AMD Ryzen processors has increased and much the market share of this manufacturer. According to market research data, AMD Ryzen has boosted the number of AMD processor devices by 10%, reducing Intel's overwhelming dominance by the way. These data are shocking because they multiply by five the growth of AMD only in the second quarter of 2017, showing a behavior that in the medium and long term can be devastating. It is also limited to Windows 10 as the only operating system, leaving out MacOS and Linux, among others.
