Meanwhile, the AirJet Mini Slim has two significant changes compared to its predecessor: it is 2.5mm thin (down from 2.8 mm) and weighs only 8 grams (down from 9 grams). This new design is a better fit for devices that need to be portable and powerful simultaneously, like fanless laptops, tablets, handheld gaming devices, and SSDs. Furthermore, Frore also positions its cooling system for smartphones, though we would argue that smartphones have enough space even for a 2.5-mm cooling system inside. The company is also tipped to equip the iPhone 17 series with an upgraded selfie camera. In a Medium post, Kuo states that Apple will upgrade the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max from a 12-megapixel sensor to a 48-megapixel sensor — the sensor is expected to output 12-megapixel images that are pixel binned, according to Kuo, but the hardware upgrade will lead to improved image quality compared to the iPhone 15 Pro models. The analyst says that Taiwan-based Genius Electronic Optical will be a major supplier of the ultra-wide angle lens on the iPhone 16 Pro models, and the firm is also on track to produce the tetraprism telephoto lens for the smaller iPhone 16 Pro model, bringing its optical zoom performance on par with the larger Pro model. Last year, Apple equipped the iPhone 15 Pro with an upgraded telephoto camera that offers up to 5x optical zoom. Previous leaks suggest the iPhone 16 Pro will also be equipped with similar camera hardware that enables the same functionality. https://techxplore.com/news/2024-01-ai-driven-machine-method-software.html A team of computer scientists led by the University of Massachusetts Amherst recently announced a new method for automatically generating whole proofs that can be used to prevent software bugs and verify that the underlying code is correct. This new method, called Baldur, leverages the artificial intelligence power of large language models (LLMs), and when combined with the state-of-the-art tool Thor, yields unprecedented efficacy of nearly 66%. The team was recently awarded a Distinguished Paper award at the ACM Joint European Software Engineering Conference and Symposium on the Foundations of Software Engineering. "We have unfortunately come to expect that our software is buggy, despite the fact that it is everywhere and we all use it every day," says Yuriy Brun, professor in the Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences at UMass Amherst and the paper's senior author. The effects of buggy software can range anywhere from the annoying—glitchy formatting or sudden crashes—to potentially catastrophic when it comes to security breaches or the precision software used for space exploration or for controlling health care devices. Of course, there have been methods for checking software for as long as it has existed. One po[CENSORED]r method is the simplest: you have a human being go through the code, line by line, manually verifying that there are no errors. Or you can run the code and check it against what you expect it to do. If, for instance, you expect your word-processing software to break the line every time you press the "return" key, but it instead outputs a question mark, then you know something in the code is wrong. The problem with both methods is that they are prone to human error, and checking against every possible glitch is extraordinarily time-consuming, expensive and infeasible for anything but trivial systems. A much more thorough, but harder, method is to generate a mathematical proof showing that the code does what it is expected to do, and then use a theorem prover to make sure that the proof is also correct. This method is called machine-checking. But manually writing these proofs is incredibly time-consuming and requires extensive expertise. "These proofs can be many times longer than the software code itself," says Emily First, the paper's lead author who completed this research as part of her doctoral dissertation at UMass Amherst. With the rise of LLMs, of which ChatGPT is the most famous example, a possible solution is to try to generate such proofs automatically. However, "one of the biggest challenges with LLMs is that they're not always correct," says Brun. "Instead of crashing and letting you know that something is wrong, they tend to 'fail silently,' producing an incorrect answer but presenting it as if it's correct. And, often, the worst thing you can do is to fail silently." This is where Baldur comes in. First, whose team performed its work at Google, used Minerva, an LLM trained on a large corpus of natural-language text, and then fine-tuned it on 118GB of mathematical scientific papers and webpages containing mathematical expressions. Next, she further fine-tuned the LLM on a language, called Isabelle/HOL, in which the mathematical proofs are written. Baldur then generated an entire proof and worked in tandem with the theorem prover to check its work. When the theorem prover caught an error, it fed the proof, as well as information about the error, back into the LLM, so that it can learn from its mistake and generate a new and hopefully error-free proof. This process yields a remarkable increase in accuracy. The state-of-the-art tool for automatically generating proofs is called Thor, which can generate proofs 57% of the time. When Baldur (Thor's brother, according to Norse mythology) is paired with Thor, the two can generate proofs 65.7% of the time. Though there is still a large degree of error, Baldur is by far the most effective and efficient way yet devised to verify software correctness, and as the capabilities of AI are increasingly extended and refined, so should Baldur's effectiveness grow. It claims that "a whole new breed of MSI dragon is coming" and shows the placement of two joysticks, as well as ventilation and what appears to be an MSI logo on the back of the device. The video suggests more details about this handheld PC will be shared at CES next week. At the moment, we can really only guess what exactly this device looks like inside and out, though a tweet from Intel gives us an idea of what's inside. The joysticks appears appear to be in a similar position to the Asus ROG Ally, which borrows the offset placement from Microsoft's Xbox controllers. We can see them in the video surrounded by RGB lighting in otherwise complete darkness. Handheld gaming PCs will be new territory for MSI, though the company has been making gaming laptops for many years now. Expanding into new markets isn't anything unusual for MSI though, which has recently gotten into high-end SSDs and routers. Getting into handheld gaming would get the company on par with many of its rivals, who have already launched their own handheld PCs. We can probably expect MSI's upcoming handheld to run Windows 11, which Microsoft has lately tweaked to be more palatable for handheld PCs. However, since Windows 11 still doesn't really work well on just a controller, it's almost certain that MSI will have custom software running on its handheld, a solution that Asus and Lenovo also had to rely on. Later in the day, Intel responded to a version of the teaser MSI posted on X (formerly Twitter) with three thinking face emojis, suggesting that perhaps Intel's Meteor Lake will be powering this handheld. Intel getting a deal with one of the biggest brands in PC gaming for a new form factor would be a big deal and would break AMD's multi-year long monopoly on handheld gaming PCs. On the other hand, testing indicates that Meteor Lake is quite a bit less efficient at lower power limits, which could be a deal-breaker for handheld gaming PCs, which tend to operate at lower power. Other Windows-powered gaming handhelds from major OEMs went with AMD's Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip, which is the APU that powers Asus's ROG Ally and Lenovo's Legion Go. The Z1 Extreme is based on AMD's Phoenix chip, and it's more or less identical to the Ryzen 7 7840U. The fastest handheld gaming PCs today use either the Z1 Extreme or the 7840U, both of which are a fair bit faster than the Van Gogh APU found inside the Steam Deck. Some smaller brands are moving up to AMD's. Hawk Point 8040 series APUs, though this wouldn't be substantially different than using a Phoenix-based chip. Hawk Point only boasts a higher clock speed on its NPU, which won't really impact gaming performance. Despite that, GPD is switching its handhelds to the Ryzen 7 8840U, presumably because it's an easy swap with the 7840U. Though, should MSI want a newer version of the Z1 Extreme based on Hawk Point, it's not clear if one will even come out since the Z1 Extreme notably has its NPU disabled. It's unclear from this video what MSI might do to differentiate its offering from other handhelds outside of the possible choice of an Intel chip. The Lenovo Legion Go, for instance, had detachable controllers and a larger, higher resolution display than competitors. We'll have to wait until CES 2024 to learn more.

Reglas para usuarios: ¤ ¡El uso de / lm (Mina láser) en zombis afk está prohibido y dará lugar a una matanza!. ¤Está prohibido abusar o congelar nades en mods de asesino, ¡cualquiera que sea atrapado será asesinado directamente ¤ Los jugadores que insulten a Dios / Religión / Cualquier parte de la familia recibirán una prohibición (3000 Minutos). ¤ Está prohibido usar (zp_jetpack) más de 2 veces por mapa (degradado / eliminado). ¤ Los jugadores que cambien de modelo desde la consola recibirán una prohibición (60min - 120min - permanentemente). ¤ ¡Está prohibido el juego entre jugadores y administradores con malas palabras o insultos !. Ejemplo: (Noob. Idiota, cualquier palabra que sea ofensiva o irrespetuosa para otro.) Noob, idiota o cualquier palabra que sea ofensiva o irrespetuosa (6 min) El contenido político que interrumpe el juego general o que algunos jugadores se sienten perturbados por él no se tolera en el servidor. 2 = Bofetada (Slap) Jugadores que están debajo del mapa (Máximo 3 bofetadas). Zombis que están acampando para extender la ronda (Advertencia 3 bofetada siguiente matanza). jugadores que no ataquen en mod humano (survivor, sniper, samurai, terminator, Magnum Maestro) (3 slaps) 3 = Matar (Slay) Jugadores que bloquean o zombis que campamento recibirán Slay. Después de que un jugador haya comprado un Mod, debes esperar 2 rondas para comprar tu Mod; si compraste un Mod y no esperaste 2 rondas, recibirás un Slay. Si alguien compra a Némesis y mata a todos, pero protégé a un enemigo, recibe Slay. Dar gratis en la ronda de Armagedón con Némesis no está permitido y será seguido por Slay. También se da a quienes disparan e incluso destruyen las /lm (Mina láser) de otras personas recibirán Slay. El uso de /lm (Mina láser) en Afk Zombies está prohibido y dará lugar a un Slay. Solo permitido durante el modo Survivor. Durante Armageddon, cualquier némesis con un grado inferior a Copropietario que no utilice el ataque automático recibira Slay. jugadores que no atquen en mod humano (survivor, sniper, samurai, terminator, crosser) 4 = Congelar (Freeze) Si los zombis no atacan en Mods (peste, pesadilla, francotirador, superviviente, enjambre). Si los zombis acampan en el agua, reciben congelación. Si los zombis Campean en el agua reciben congelación, ¡Se dara slay a el/los ultimos zombies congelados en los ultimos segundos! jugadores que no atquen o campeen en mod humano (survivor, sniper, samurai, terminator, crosser) 5 = Prohibición (Ban) Jugadores que hagan retry después de haber sido amordazados obtiene prohibición (60 minutos). jugadores que usan m6 cuando son zombis obtienen prohibición (60 minutos). Jugadores que hacen retry siendo el ultimo zombi obtienen prohibición (60 minutos). jugadores que usan hacks / scrips recibirán la prohibición (5000 minutos). Los jugadores que se anuncian para otros servidores obtienen la prohibición (Permanente). Jugadores que cambian de modelo desde consola (60min-120min-Permanentemente) Jugadores que insultan a Dios/ Religión/ Cualquier parte de la Familia/ Cualquier otro insulto extremo (3000 Minutos). Jugadores que usan bhop o sgs (5000 minutos). 6 = Destruir (Destroy) Jugadores que insultan a Dios / Religión / Cualquier parte de la familia. Jugadores que están en la lista negra / prohibidos por usar hacks / reconectarse después de la prohibición temporal. Jugadores que están usando hacks Jugadores que cambien de ip/steam id despues de un ban Notas: ¤ Está prohibido utilizar cualquier tipo de hacks / scripts. ¤ Sólo los fundadores - Jefes puede permanecer como espectador en el servidor, otros pueden permanecer alejados. ¤No puedes usar zp_nemesis, assassin si un jugador tiene 120 ammo o más. ¤ Está prohibido comprar un mod humano mapa tras mapa. Los mods humanos solo se pueden comprar cada segundo mapa. p.ej. si compró en un mapa mod sniper, solo puede comprar un mod zombie en el siguiente mapa, y podrá comprar un mod humano nuevamente en el mapa posterior. ¤ También está prohibido comprar/recibir 2 mods en el mismo mapa. Si recibe mod de un administrador o del servidor, no puede volver a comprar mod en ese mapa usando ammo/puntos. en caso de hacerlo recibira slay ¤ Los mods Zombie se pueden comprar mapa tras mapa ¤ Esconderse solo es obligatorio durante el mod de sobreviviente. Durante el mod de francotirador, no es obligatorio esconderse. ¤ Los insultos y comentarios irrespetuosos están estrictamente prohibidos. Cualquier administrador que insulte a alguien será suspendido o eliminado según la gravedad. Los jugadores recibirán una mordaza ¤ Cualquier jugador/administrador con un rango inferior a Co-owner será expulsado después de permanecer inactivo durante más de 1 hora sin autoataque. ¤Si el servidor o un administrador te da un mod, está prohibido comprar otro en el mismo mapa (recibirás slay), si compras un mod y luego el servidor te da un mod, es suerte, por lo que no te daran slay ¤ Se permite el cambio de nombre 1 VEZ por mapa ¤ El nombre debe contener caracteres normales y NO demasiados especiales (árabes, chinos o símbolos) Nuevas reglas: ¤ Cuando un Gerente ya ha publicado un informe, solo ese Gerente tiene derecho a publicar y/ o tomar la decisión final a menos que amerite que intervenga un Daddy Boss. ¤ Aquellos Némesis en el "Mod Armageddon" que no usen (Auto Attack) y tengan el rango más bajo del Copropietario, recibirán matanza directa.
