  1. Samsung Galaxy S23 series is reportedly on its way to the market. The much-awaited flagship smartphone series is expected to follow the footsteps of the Galaxy S22 lineup and could include Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra models. Samsung was earlier speculated to launch the devices during a Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event in the first week of February. There's still no word from the South Korean tech giant on an official date, but a new leak suggests that the event could happen on February 1. A promotional image of the upcoming event has allegedly appeared on the company's Colombia website. As spotted by 9to5google, Samsung has put up a promotional image of the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event which reveals the event date and time on its Colombia website. According to the now-removed teaser poster, Galaxy Unpacked 2023 will take place on February 1. There is no confirmation from Samsung about the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event yet, but the new leak suggests it is in line with previously tipped schedules. As mentioned, the upcoming Samsung flagship lineup is said to comprise the vanilla Samsung Galaxy S23 variant, alongside the Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra models. They are expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Leaked renders of the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ suggested a triple camera setup at the rear, while the Galaxy S23 Ultra could feature a quad rear camera unit led by a 200-megapixel primary sensor. The vanilla Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ are tipped to come in 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage models, while the top-of-the-line Galaxy S23 Ultra is said to be available in 12GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.Leaked renders of the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra tipped botanic green, cotton flower, misty lilac and phantom black shades. Samsung Galaxy S23 handsets are said to have a similar price tag to the Galaxy S22 lineup. https://www.gadgets360.com/mobiles/news/samsung-unpacked-event-teaser-colombia-website-february-1-report-galaxy-3671410
  2. MSI has shown off its upcoming Radeon RX 7900 XTX & Radeon RX 7900 XT Gaming Trio Classic custom designs based on the AMD RDNA 3 GPUs. MSI Hops Onboard The Custom RDNA 3 Bandwagon, Readies The Radeon RX 7900 XTX & RX 7900 XT Gaming Trio Classic Custom Graphics Cards As expected, MSI has announced its own custom designs for AMD's RDNA 3 GPU architecture, that utilize the flagship Navi 31 graphics core. The two designs that MSI is showcasing at CES 2023 are the Radeon RX 7900 XTX Gaming Trio Classic and the Radeon RX 7900 XT Gaming Trio Classic. The company is calling these the 'Classic' variants since they utilize the same cooling shroud and fans from the Radeon RX 6000 Gaming X Trio lineup. The main difference between the Gaming X Trio and the Gaming Trio Classic is that the shroud, fan, and heatsink design. While the new cards look familiar to the Radeon RX 6000 Gaming X Trio cards and also feature the same TORX Fan 4.0 cooling solution, the internal heatsink assembly has been modified slightly for the newer RDNA 3 GPU cores. The best part is that these cards retain the small 2.5-slot design rather than going with the 3+ slot design that is the new Gaming X Trio cooler. Both the Radeon RX 7900 XTX & RX 7900 XT Gaming Trio Classic graphics cards come with a custom PCB & make use of a triple 8-pin connector design. MSI highlights the following main features for its Radeon RX 7900 XTX & RX 7900 XT Gaming Trio Classic graphics cards: Tri-Frozr 2: Tri-Frozr 2 offers the perfect balance between cool temperatures and quiet fans during endless gaming sessions. Torx Fan 4.0: A masterpiece of teamwork, fan blades work in pairs to create unprecedented levels of focused air pressure. Core Pipe: Precision-machined heat pipes ensure max contact to the GPU and spread heat along the full length of the heatsink Metal Backplate: Thermal pads under the sturdy metal backplate provide additional cooling while the flow-through ventilation reduces trapped heat. Airflow Control: Don't sweat it, Airflow Control guides the air to exactly where it needs to be for maximum cooling. Considering that there are issues with AMD's own reference Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics cards, it is a wise-decision right now to go for an AIB custom design such as these upcoming ones from MSI. We haven't been told exact specifications such as clocks or power limits yet nor the pricing but we expect more details in the coming month. https://wccftech.com/msi-radeon-rx-7900-xtx-rx-7900-xt-gaming-trio-classic-custom-designs-pictured-2-5-slot-triple-8-pin/
  3. Chinese mega publisher NetEase continues its expansion into the Western development scene as today the company announced they’ve acquired SkyBox Labs, the Vancouver, Canada-based support studio that’s primarily worked with Xbox Game Studios on the likes of Halo Infinite, Minecraft, and various Age of Empires titles. It sounds like SkyBox will continue to assist other studios with their games under NetEase ownership, although the press release for the acquisition does mention Skybox will also “pursue creative opportunities.” SkyBox has produced some original titles of their own, including the well-received artsy platformer Stela, so with NetEase’s support, perhaps we’ll see more in than vein. NetEase’s president of global investment and partnerships Simon Zhu had the following to say about the new partnership with SkyBox…“We are thrilled to welcome SkyBox Labs to the NetEase Games family and are committed to creating an environment that allows them to thrive and operate independently as a game studio. We were impressed with their extensive experience in game development and are great admirers of their past work on some of the world's leading franchises. We look forward to working with the SkyBox Labs co-founders and providing the resources needed to help them grow their presence in Canada as they continue to support top creators around the world in developing unforgettable gaming experiences for players." Interestingly, one of NetEase’s big recent moves was backing Jar of Sparks, a new Seattle-based startup studio founded by many former Halo Infinite top creatives. They’re looking to create a “new generation of narrative-driven action games," so perhaps SkyBox Labs will be helping them out with that? The people behind the two studios have a history and are certainly close geographically, so it would make sense. What do you think about NetEase’s continued expansion? Could some good games eventually come out of it? You can get more info on their latest moves here. https://wccftech.com/halo-infinite-minecraft-studio-skybox-labs-netease-acquisition/

  5. AMD continued its dominating spree in the retail DIY segment in Germany with its Ryzen CPUs over Intel's Core lineup. But it looks like AM4 CPUs remain the most po[CENSORED]r chips while Intel's Alder and Raptor Lake CPUs are in a better position than the Ryzen 7000 processors. German PC Builders Love AMD Ryzen 5000 CPUs, Consumers Show Little Interest In Ryzen 7000 In data compiled by Ingebor at Reddit, we can see the latest market statistics from Germany's largest PC hardware retailer, Mindfactory. According to the figures, December 2022 marked the second-best sales month for the entirety of the past year. AMD CPUs amounted to almost 20K units sold while Intel CPUs amounted close to 11K units sold. AMD retained a +50% CPU sales share while Intel only managed a 37% share during the previous month. The revenue split was similar to the sales figures though Intel did manage a 41% revenue hold due to more PC builders buying into their higher-end and premium products. Intel & AMD CPU Sales/Revenue (Image Credits: u/Ingebor): The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D managed once again to lead the charts owing to its impressive value for money thanks to massive discounts over the past few months and it's strong gaming performance that can be enabled across a wide spectrum of AM4 motherboards without the need to upgrade a platform. The CPU alone sold 3250 CPUs (a -29% drop over the previous month) and managed to outsell AMD's entire Ryzen 7000 CPU lineup. The Ryzen 5 5600X and Ryzen 7 5800X also sold over 2000 units while the Intel Core i5-12400F moved 2260 units. Amongst all chips, only Intel 12th Gen Alder Lake & 13th Gen Raptor Lake CPUs were the ones to see double-digit gains. Meanwhile, AMD's newly launched Ryzen 7 7700 saw a -27% drop in sales. Intel will also be introducing its 13th Gen Non-K 65W CPUs today which will allow them to capture even more DIY market but it remains to be seen how consumers respond to the recent price hike of up to 10% on a majority of chips. AMD will also launch its own Ryzen Non-X CPUs but that does not change the fact that the AM5 platform as a whole is the reason why Ryzen 7000 sales have been so poor since their launch. Intel & AMD CPU Sales/Revenue For December (Image Credits: u/Ingebor): Intel & AMD CPU Sales/Revenue For 2022 (Image Credits: u/Ingebor): As for the entirety of 2022, AMD's Ryzen 5 5600X was the most po[CENSORED]r CPU with a total of 28,820 units sold followed by the Ryzen 7 5800X with 25,280 units and the Ryzen 5 5600G APU taking up the 3rd place with 18,3000 units. The Ryzen 7 5800X3D is picking up the pace and is currently the 4th most po[CENSORED]r chip with 15,150 units sold so far.As of right now, Mindfactory sold 71% Vermeer (Ryzen 5000) chips, 15% (Ryzen 7000) chips & 13% (Ryzen 5000G) chips. Meanwhile, the same retailer sold 43% Alder Lake (12th Gen) and 46% Raptor Lake (13th Gen) chips. More users seem to be buying Intel's newest Core lineup instead of Ryzen 7000 CPUs. Once again, the platform cost is to blame and is also the reason why AM4 remains so po[CENSORED]r for AMD users. https://wccftech.com/amd-ryzen-5000-cpus-continue-to-dominate-5800x3d-outsell-all-ryzen-7000-cpus-in-germany/
  6. Yesterday's new Fable rumor has now been debunked by GamesIndustry's Christopher Dring.A thread popped up on the ever-credible 4-Chan boards yesterday, claiming that development on the next Fable had been restarted internally as the game's most current build was said to be considered unplayable by the team. As such, it was claimed that the team started working on a new version of the game in Unreal Engine with the Forzatech version of the game being ditched. Interestingly enough, the post also mentioned that, although the development has now been restarted, the game's new target window is the 4th quarter of 2024. The rumor quickly gained traction, and although the source is highly questionable, Windows Central's Jez Corden chimed in by saying that he wouldn't be surprised if the rumor turned out to be true. We already figured that releasing a game such as Fable in less than two years after development was restarted was, well, rather quick, but the Head of GamesIndustry, Christopher Dring, has now also said this 'rumor' simply isn't legit. On Twitter, Dring simply wrote: "This is not true". No further details were shared by Dring. The new Fable for Xbox Series and PC was officially announced back in 2020. Using the ForzaTech engine, the title is in development at Forza Horizon developer Playground Games. Unfortunately, since the game's reveal more than two years ago, we haven't seen much from the reboot. Recent rumors claim that development on the title is slow due to Microsoft insisting on using in-house engines. On the other hand, Microsoft's Matt Booty recently said that progress on the new Fable is really encouraging. "There's stuff I wish I could share and show because some of the things I've seen are just so encouraging", the Xbox Game Studios head said in an interview back in November of 2022."There's a danger sometimes, that you don't want to [have] the RPG team go make a racing game or vice-versa. You don't want the shooter team to make a kid's building-block game. You can get in trouble there. But [Playground has] a great technology base, they've got a passion for the IP, and they've just got such a demonstrated commitment to craft and quality." https://wccftech.com/fable-rumor-debunked-by-gamesindustry-biz/

  8. A few weeks ago, I wrote that NVIDIA is mulling pricing the NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti at an MSRP of $899 and had informed AICs that this would be the launch price tentatively. Multiple sources have informed us that they have received a last minute update from big green with what appears to be a pre-launch price drop and the current tentative MSRP of the NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti: $799. NVIDIA quietly informs AICs of a price cut for the 4070 Ti's MSRP: tentatively launching at $799 NVIDIA likes to keep the pricing of its GPUs close to itself before launch and some AICs had already started taking orders at an MSRP of $899 from some of their channel partners. However, they have been informed today that the tentative launch date is now $799 and the difference will be adjusted for existing orders. Since we are closer to the launch, this price point is likely going to stick (although that is just my educated guess). That said, this extract form my original article still remains relevant (although price is unlikely to go up, and more likely to go down if Jensen changes his mind again): Keep in mind, however, that Jensen wields the black leather jacket and all of us must submit to its power. So he could very well snap his fingers and change the MSRP at the very last moment should he want to. This is also why I am still tagging this post as a rumor - because until the marketing and documentation gets made for the launch, details like this can still change. A big reason for why NVIDIA might have had a change of heart could be because of the fact that 25% GPU tariffs were set to resume on 1/1 and were pushed back by the US government by 9 months. This meant that if NVIDIA and AICs kept the pricing of their cards constant, it would have shrunk their margins. They might have figured to take the hurt anyways and pass on the savings from the lack of resumption to the consumer. But of course, the biggest reason is probably the completely lackluster traction of the NVIDIA RTX 4080 which has had serious difficulty in flying off the shelves unlike its much more expensive sibling: the NVIDIA RTX 4090. The updated value proposition of NVIDIA's RTX 40 series based on the value that the RTX 4090 offers is below: GPU FP32 TFLOPS MSRP TFLOPS/$ VALUE (%) GeForce RTX 4090 82.59 1599 0.05165 100.0% GeForce RTX 4080 48.74 1199 0.04065 78.7% GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 40.09 799 0.05017 97% As we can see, the RTX 4070 Ti with this new MSRP is far closer to the value that the TITAN offers from a TFLOPs/$ perspective and should enable the card to take the burn to AMD's recently launched Radeon RX 7000 series GPUs. With just a few weeks to launch, NVIDIA has decided to reduce the price of its relatively-mainstream entry and further price cuts could be in the pipeline should the wielder of the black-leather-jacket deem it so. If there any more price changes, I will report on them right away. https://wccftech.com/nvidia-settles-on-799-msrp-for-the-geforce-nvidia-rtx-4070-ti/

What kind of announcements might we see? https://wccftech.com/square-enix-atlus-sonic-team-capcom-konami-japense-devs-2023-plans/
  10. Vivo X90 series is expected to debut in China this year in December. The company's new flagship lineup is said to include the standard Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro, and Vivo X90 Pro+. A handful of its specifications have surfaced in recent times. It is speculated that the top-of-the-line Vivo X90 Pro+ may get a 1-inch main camera sensor on the back. Based on these rumours and more, a notable tipster has now shared design renders of the Vivo X90 Pro+.The alleged Vivo X90 Pro+ design render tweeted by tipster Ben Geskin (@BenGeskin) showcases a slightly altered rear camera module in comparison to the Vivo X80 series. The latter featured a quad rear camera setup with one of the sensors lying outside the circular module. This time around, it appears that Vivo might place all four rear camera sensors inside the circular module, including the expected 1-inch main camera sensor. The Vivo X90 Pro+ render image also depicts a dual-tone rear panel, similar to its predecessor the Vivo X80 lineup. There also appears to be a volume rocker and a power button on the right side.So far, Vivo has remained tight-lipped regarding the details of the Vivo X90 series. It has been tipped to launch by the end of December. Rumours suggest that it will be the final product launch of 2022 for the company.Geskin also tipped that the Vivo X90 Pro+ may pack a 5,000mAh battery and offer 100W fast charging support. Rumours indicate that this smartphone may get high-speed LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. According to a recent report, the Vivo X90 series may feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The company might also offer next-gen MediaTek Dimensity chipset-powered variants, which might outperform the Snapdragon models. https://gadgets360.com/mobiles/news/vivo-x90-pro-plus-design-render-leak-specifications-3425406
  11. There's no doubt that GUNNIR is Intel's top AIB for their Arc graphics cards and as such, they have some of the nicest looking Arc A770 & Arc A750 designs ready for today's grand launch. Intel's Arc A770 & Arc A750 Custom Designs From GUNNIR Come In Beautiful Black & Blue Designs For today's launch, GUNNIR is introducing a total of five new graphics cards under its Photon and FLUX families. These include two Arc A770 and three Arc A750 models. Keeping the tradition alive of offering custom graphics cards at launch like they did with the Arc A380, GUNNIR's Arc A770 & Arc A750 will feature a fully non-reference PCB and cooler design. Sure the Limited Edition variant from Intel itself is a looker but those who want something extra will have the option with the FLUX and Photon series. So coming to the models, the Intel Arc FLUX series from GUNNIR will have four variants, all of which feature a factory overclock but the difference between the variants is that two are Black "Flux K" & two are Blue "Flux B" colored. Both are absolutely stunning with a glossy matte finish and the triple fan design in a 2-slot package is really aesthetically pleasing after getting two years of 2.5 and 3-slot cards. All cards, whether the A770 or A750, feature a dual 8-pin setup whereas the Limited Edition by Intel comes with an 8+6-pin connector configuration. The GUNNIR Intel Arc A750 comes in an additional Photon custom design which is a slightly toned-down version. It retains the triple-fan and dual-slot design and has the triangular RGB accent plate on the side but lacks the RGB accent strip that the Flux series comes with. All models come with a 2.4 GHz overclocked frequency and come with 8 GB memory capacities. This means that Intel's own Arc A770 Limited Edition is currently the only model with 16 GB VRAM capacities. All five models are currently listed on Chinese JD.com and Videocardz has managed to round up the prices as below: GUNNIR Intel Arc A770 FLUX B (Blue) 8G OC: 2799 RMB (2699 RMB sale) GUNNIR Intel Arc A770 FLUX K (Black) 8G OC: 2799 RMB (2699 RMB sale) GUNNIR Intel Arc A750 FLUX B (Blue) 8G OC: 2699 RMB (2599 RMB sale) GUNNIR Intel Arc A750 FLUX K (Black) 8G OC: 2699 RMB (2599 RMB sale) GUNNIR Intel Arc A750 Photon 8G OC: 2599 RMB (2499 RMB sale) That's around $370 US for the GUNNIR Intel Arc A770 FLUX and $350 US for the GUNNIR Intel Arc A750 models. Surely the prices are a bit higher than the MSRP suggested by Intel but it should be pointed out that these prices include regional tax and as was the case with the GUNNIR Intel Arc A380, they are in line with the MSRPs set by the blue team for the Asia Pacific market. Other AICs will also be introducing their custom graphics cards for Intel's first discrete GPU family later today. https://wccftech.com/gunnir-intel-arc-a770-arc-a750-custom-models-now-available-beautiful-designs-in-black-blue/
  12. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center where New York Comic Con is typically held, Square-Enix invited us and a select number of media/influencers to go hands-on with three of their upcoming RPGs. The first one I played that made up the majority of my session was Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, a full remake of the PSP exclusive that was first released in 2008 for the West (and only less than a year prior in Japan). Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion centers alongside a lifelong friend of Cloud Strife and an ancillary friend to several key players across all of Final Fantasy VII, Zack Fair. While already an action RPG spinoff that played quite differently from its namesake, Crisis Core's upcoming Reunion remake enhances that action combat to be more in line with Final Fantasy VII Remake's newer designs while retaining some of what made the original Crisis Core so unique: the DMW slot system. DMW, or Digital Mind Wave, was a unique mechanic to Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII core combat. As Zack Fair befriended those around him and created a strong mental bond between them, those feelings could be materialized within the reels that make up the DMW slot machine. The DMW slots act relatively independently from Zack in combat and are constantly spinning away while Zack hacks away with his oversized Buster Sword. However, the DMW is much less obtrusive in the remake to the point where it is no longer the sore spot that it once was in the original PSP release. Hitting a jackpot doesn't stop the action in most instances, instead quietly spinning away in the top left corner of the screen where achieving a character buff merely pops up as an on-screen notification rather than the fullscreen takeover it once was. Skills and powerful attacks that can be rewarded as three-of-a-kind rolls are instead saved into Zack's attack palette and can be unleashed on demand by a simple press of the triangle button. On top of that, skill cutscenes can be skipped if you're tired of seeing the same attack animations play out time and time again. Whether you're wielding the Buster Sword as Cloud in Final Fantasy VII Remake or Zack in Crisis Core, the combat takes a surprisingly similar approach when it comes to the action. The DMW constantly hangs in the top left corner of the UI while Zack's HP, MP, and AP po[CENSORED]te in the bottom left. The bottom right window dynamically changes between the items slotted into his quick-use menu (potions, ethers, and the like) or switches into his Materia slots when L1 is held down. Zack can slot in up to four materia at a given time as well as two accessory slots. When the final boss of our gameplay demo is Ifrit, you better believe a Fire Amulet and Blizzard Blade are both required selections. While MP and AP are somewhat limited by the amount of restorative items you can bring along, the slots have a distinctive ability to activate a No AP Cost buff at the perfect time. Zack might not be able to jump to avoid getting smacked, but he does have the ability to block the brunt of the attack with his oversized hunk of metal or simply dodge roll away. Ifrit's fire bolts have somewhat of an innate tracking quality to them, but a neatly timed dodge roll can avoid taking the heat. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion features both an English and Japanese dub track, both of which fit Zack, Yuffie, and the few other characters that make a guest appearance in the brief preview period. The facial animations more closely match the original Japanese dub, although there's a strange uncanniness to seeing the characters speak as their lips never quite seem to touch, Zack in particular. While my demo was primarily centered around the PlayStation 5 version, I did have the opportunity to play through the same content a second time on a Nintendo Switch in handheld mode. Other action games might have to make compromises to get running at a steady framerate on Nintendo's hybrid console, but I was more than a little surprised to see how smooth everything was running in my hands. Save for some aliasing that was worse than its PlayStation counterpart and reduced rendering/detail to hair textures, Crisis Core ran just as well in my hands with a similarly impressive framerate to match. Even comparing to Dragon Quest Treasures, which was my third and final title to preview with Square Enix, the difference was night and day, and I believe that fans who have been waiting for another Final Fantasy title to arrive on the Nintendo Switch will have something to look forward unwrapping under the Christmas tree when Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion arrives December 13th. Of course, the game will also be available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S|X. https://wccftech.com/crisis-core-final-fantasy-vii-reunion-hands-on-preview/

  14. The AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs come with an integrated RDNA 2 GPU that can be overclocked up to 3 GHz with little effort with MSI's new BIOS. MSI Demonstrates AMD Ryzen 7000 RDNA 2 iGPU 3 GHz Overclock, New AM5 BIOS With AVX On/Off Switch & More In a new video published by MSI's in-house and legendary overclocker, TOPPC, we get to see some new features and tricks for AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs on the latest BIOS. First up, we have the thermal limit profiles tested with PBO Enhanced Mode. This is a new feature introduced by MSI on its X670E and X670 motherboard that really helps lower down the temperatures without comprising a lot on performance. We exclusively covered the feature in detail over here.Secondly, MSI is also introducing AVX Control Options for AMD Ryzen 7000 Desktop CPUs on their AM5 motherboards. Currently, all AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs have AVX512 support set to enabled by default and there was no option to disable it. However, with the new BIOS, users can disable and enable all AVX modes (AVX2 / AVX512). We have also talked about how Ryzen 7000 CPUs AVX-512 capabilities make them the top option for game emulators such as RPCS3 (Sony PS3). And the final option that MSI is giving is the option to enable RDNA 2 iGPU overclocking. All AMD Ryzen 7000 Desktop CPUs come with an integrated RDNA 2 GPU that features 2 compute units or a single WGP (128 cores). By default, the iGPU is clocked at 2200 MHz or 2.2 GHz but with MSI's latest BIOS, users will get overclocking support within BIOS. However, it should be noted that the iGPU is sharing voltage with the CPU so overclocking the GPU can affect CPU overclocking & performance. With that said, MSI showcases overclocks of up to 3 GHz on the AMD Ryzen 7000 iGPU. With a 3 GHz overclock using the JEDEC DDR5-4800 spec, the RDNA 2 chip can offer up to 20% higher GPU performance in 3DMark Fire Strike. If you are using DDR5-6000 memory than the higher memory bandwidth can lead to an additional 2% performance gain of up to 22% which is quite neat. Now it must be pointed out that the RDNA 2 iGPU on the Ryzen 7000 CPUs is in no way intended for gaming purposes but it will still be cool to see some benchmarks in games that the tiniest RDNA 2 GPU has to offer. https://wccftech.com/amd-ryzen-7000-rdna-2-igpu-overclocked-to-3-ghz-msi-new-bios-allows-avx-512-control/
  15. Warner Bros. Interactive has been a bit cagey about what to expect from Gotham Knights’ story – we know Bruce Wayne will be out of the picture as the game starts and the Court of Owls will be a major force, but beyond that, things get sketchy. Well, we now know more about the WB-Games-Montreal-developed game thanks to a leaked trophy list, which provides new story details, hints about villains, and more. Needless to say, this list contains some pretty major SPOILERS, so scroll no further if you want to go into Gotham Knights fresh. So, it seems Gotham Knights will offer eight main story missions (seems a bit thin, although we don’t know how substantial each mission will be). It looks like the story will focus on the Court of Owls most of the way through, but twists and turns can be expected late in the story. Jacob Kane, the father of Batwoman Kate Kane, will show up, although what role he plays is unknown. And yes, it seems The League of Shadows and Ra’s al Ghul or Talia al Ghul will once again show up at the end of the story. This, of course, brings the Lazarus Pit into play, which could have some interesting implications for Bruce Wayne’s death. Gotham Knights will also offer a number of “Villain Case File” sidequests to tackle. The trophy list doesn’t come right out and say who all the villains are, but it does strongly hint at them. Mr. Freeze, Harley Quinn, and Clayface have been seen in trailers and are all pretty obviously teased, although perhaps Two-Face (Quarter Life Crisis) and Scarecrow (Universal Health Scare) could also appear. There are also multiple Man-Bats in play (likely Court of Owls or League of Shadows members injected with Man-Bat serum). You can check out the full trophy list for yourself, below.
