  1. https://www.pcgamer.com/horrifying-roguelike-world-of-horrors-big-update-is-coming-this-month/ World of Horror has a "huge" update coming this month, says solo developer panstasz. The promising roguelike horror indie released last year, a stylish 1-bit horror adventure that takes you along for the ride as ancient forces awaken and the world falls apart around you. Obviously, you are a teenager and the only hope for thwarting the forces which seek to tear reality asunder. World of Horror is inspired by the work of Junji Ito, the renowned Japanese horror comic author whose works are packed with skin-crawling body horror and creeping existential dread. This will be World of Horror's first major update in a year. The creator has said that their personal life was "truly miserable" this year, a pretty direct reason for why the game is off its initial year-long development cycle. Despite that, panstasz expressed in their update announcement that their lack of communication on development was "inexcusable." I'd much rather a slow drip of World of Horror than none at all. You can find World of Horror on its official website, a free demo on Itch.io, and the full game on Steam as well.

The support pages of the smartphone have been spotted a couple of times and a few key design elements of the devices have also been revealed in previous leaks. The Galaxy S21 FE is rumoured to launch next year on January 4. Here are the specifications of the smartphone as per the report. (Image: CoinBRS) Samsung Galaxy S21 FE: Specifications According to CoinBRS, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be available in both the Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100 variants based on the markets, just like the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. The report further states that the Exynos 2100 comes with Mali G78 GPU, the Snapdragon 888 comes with Adreno 660 GPU. The smartphone is said to have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device will have a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, the report claims. It is also said to have Corning Gorilla Glass layer and a center-positioned punch-hole selfie camera. The front side is also said to have an in-display fingerprint scanner. As per the report, the smartphone’s power and volume buttons are at the right side and the bottom side houses a USB-C port and speakers. When it comes to cameras, the report claims that Samsung Galaxy S21 FE sports a triple camera setup at the back with a 64MP primary sensor paired with an ultra-wide sensor and a depth sensor. At the front, the device is said to have a 32MP camera for selfies and video calling. The report further claims that the smartphone will feature a 4500mAh battery with support for 15W fast-charging. As per the report, the device will be available in four colour options - White, Lavender, Cream, and Black.
  3. https://www.techradar.com/news/some-chrome-and-edge-users-will-be-blocked-from-seeing-their-browser-source-code IT administrators will soon have the power to block access to a web page's source code for some users of the world's top browsers. Both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge will be introducing the feature, which looks to fix a longstanding bug in the Chromium source code that could let users view restricted URLs. However the change won't affect all users, but instead mainly devices bought and owned by education enterprises such as schools, colleges and universities. Sponsored Links If You Need to Kill Time on Your Computer, this City-Building Game is a Must-Have. No Install. Forge of Empires - Free Online Game Code block The change, reported by 9to5Google, will also affect users of Chrome Enterprise, and looks to fix a long-standing issue troubling educational users and admins alike. Users have long been able to view the source code of a webpage by tapping CTRL+U, or right-clicking anywhere on a page and selecting "View page source". Although this can be useful for developers, code-heads or just the curious, reports have claimed that doing so on some educational exam sites can sometimes reveal test answers, especially when using Google Forms. Now, Microsoft says it has come up with a fix that it says can stop the option to view a page's source code if a particular website is on an organization’s blocklist. The fix can also block the ability to view source code entirely if desired, and when paired with a separate existing policy, can also stop the use of Chrome DevTools entirely. The change probably won't be seen publicly for some time, as it has only just been added to the Chromium source code, but future versions of Edge and Chrome could well introduce source code-blocking features within the next few product release windows. However it's likely that the feature will only be present in highly-controlled use cases, such as education, for now. The news could boost Microsoft Edge's user base in educational establishments, increasing its rising market share. Recent data has shown that Edge is beginning to establish a lead over great rival Firefox, holding 3.99% of the market - meaning the browser’s share has increased by roughly a third since this time last year. 4. https://www.pcgamer.com/save-dollar90-on-this-1440p-acer-gaming-monitor-with-g-sync/ If you're looking for a good, high refresh rate gaming monitor in the lead up to Black Friday, consider this 144Hz 1440p Acer Predator XB271HU: It's currently $379.99, which matches its lowest price on record. The 27-inch monitor has the key features that our team looks for in a display, including a fast response time and G-sync support, and the Amazon discount comes to around $90 based on its current price history. While a little old compared to our favorite gaming monitors, the Acer XB271HU still competes with our favorite budget pick simply because it has G-Sync. G-Sync, if you don't already know, keeps your Nvidia GPU in line with your monitor's refresh rate, preventing tearing in games that don't run at a consistent frame rate. Because this monitor has a proprietary G-Sync chip (and not a "G-Sync compatible" one or AMD Freesync) , though, this feature won't work with AMD graphics cards. Check out the best Black Friday gaming monitor deals for PC gamers This monitor also has a resolution of 2560x1440. It's not 4K, but it's a great upgrade over 1080p that slightly older graphics cards can actually handle. Unless you're (somehow) buying a top-of-the-line 30-series GPU, 1440p is a good resolution. Acer Predator XB271HU | 27-inch | 1440p | IPS | $469.99 Acer Predator XB271HU | 27-inch | 1440p | IPS | $469.99 $379.99 at Amazon (save $90) For Acer's flagship monitor this is a great deal. We hold a special place in our hearts for the Predator. The IPS panel may not have the best colors and contrast around, but it's built for performance. With a 4ms response time and an overclockable 144Hz refresh, you'll be flying in competitive games. VIEW DEAL The monitor uses a IPS panel that will offer vibrant colors and contrast, but might not be quite as good as newer models. It does have a low, 4ms response time. Combine that with its 144Hz (165Hz when overclocked) refresh rate, and you'll feel a difference in fast-paced games, like Battlefield 2042. I use an older version of this monitor and I can confidently say that going from 60Hz to 144Hz, especially with G-Sync, changed how I play games. 60Hz feels like a thing of the past now. The Acer Predator monitor also includes two speakers, four USB 3.0 ports, 1 HDMI port, 1 DisplayPort, and VESA mounts if you want to swap out the stand. With the stock stand, you can swivel it around and change the height. Although this monitor came out several years ago, it's got all the important features seen in newer monitors.

Patience and understanding? On the internet? Needless to say some people are having kittens about this, and it is truly unfortunate that it's happened alongside the release of GTA: The Trilogy. The fact that the whole launcher is down means this is also affecting players across Rockstar's games. PCG has contacted Rockstar for comment, and will update with any response. How to check the Rockstar Games Launcher's status Rockstar Games has a service status page on its website with information for its games across consoles and PCs. As of this writing, the Rockstar Games Launcher is still showing red across the board for authentication, store access, cloud services and downloads. It's completely down, in other words, but you can refresh the page above for news. Along with the launcher, the status page shows that GTA Online and Red Dead Online are also both down on PC. The images show a smartphone with a hole-punch display, and a triple rear AI camera setup. A few days ago, another tipster shared a video claiming it to be an advertisement for the European market. He also listed a few specifications as well as camera features. The rumoured Oppo phone may come with the extended RAM feature, Reno Glow design and 33W fast charging support. As per the images shared by tipster Evan Blass, the Oppo Reno 6 Lite is said to sport a hole-punch display with the camera cut-out situated in the top left corner. There are thin bezels on the side and a thick chin on the rumoured Oppo phone. There is a triple rear camera setup, and the camera module hints at a 48-megapixel primary sensor. Alleged camera details along with a video and other specifications of the Oppo Reno 6 Lite were also shared by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore. He says that the video is a commercial for the European market. He claims that the smartphone will come with a full-HD+ AMOLED display, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the smartphone is said to come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC which could be paired with 6GB of RAM + virtual 5GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage. As far as camera details are concerned, the Oppo Reno 6 Lite is said to come with a 48-megapixel main sensor along with a 2-megapixel sensor paired with a wide-angle lens, and another 2-megapixel sensor with macro lens. Camera features include Night Portrait and AI Scene Enhancement. The phone may pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging technology. The smartphone is claimed to come with FlexDrop feature that is said to allow simultaneous multiple application operations on the screen.
  9. https://www.techradar.com/news/microsoft-edge-is-bombarding-people-with-ads Advertisements have begun appearing in the lower right corner of Microsoft Edge following a recent update to Microsoft's browser. These ads or recommendations are for service such as Microsoft Start according to a new report from Windows Latest. For those unfamiliar, Microsoft Start is a rebranded MSN feed that provides users with “personalized trusted news, plus games, weather and more – all in one app”. Apparently Microsoft has begun experimenting with showing more ads and recommendations that appear when a user opens the New Tab Page in its browser. While they can be distracting and somewhat annoying, these pop-ups can be easily dismissed by clicking on the “Maybe later” button. Sponsored Links If You Spend Time on Your Computer, this Vintage Game is a Must-Have. No Install. Forge of Empires - Free Online Game At the same time, Microsoft appears to be using its new Assistance from Microsoft Edge feature to collect search results from users in an effort to improve its Bing search engine. While the data collected by the software giant isn't associated with users or their devices, not everyone wants to hand over their search data even if doing so does help improve their preferred search engine. Microsoft is also testing out a new Office integration for its browser that will allow users to access Microsoft 365 apps directly from Edge. On the Microsoft Edge Canary Channel, the company has added a new option called “New Office Tab” to the browser's context menu that can be accessed by right-clicking on an open window. This new feature will allow users to open Word, PowerPoint and Excel directly in Edge without having to leave the browser. It also appears that Microsoft's new Office integration won't be exclusive to Microsoft 365 subscribers and anyone with a Microsoft account will be able to take advantage of it. However, just like with “Read Aloud”, “Add page to Collections” and the other options in the context menu, users won't be able to disable it. As Microsoft's new Office integration is currently being tested out in Edge Canary, it likely won't be long until this feature comes to the stable version of the company's browser. Among them, known Twitter leaker Greymon55 now airs their predictions where core count, power draw, and clock speeds are concerned, giving us much hope for the future of so-called Lovelace and RDNA 3 architectures. Previously, leakers were spotted speculating over the RTX 40-series cards' architecture, process nodes, and even a projected launch date, the implication being that the project planning stage has already been finalised. With the latest rumours (via WCCFTech), Greymon55 spouts a roundup of certainties and potential specs for these as-yet-unannounced cards. Nvidia's AD102—likely the top GPU for GeForce cards—will supposedly be packing 18,432 CUDA cores, with AMD's Navi 31 coming in at 15,360 stream processors. Against the previous generations, that's 7,936 cores up from the RTX 3090's count of 10,496 cores, and a whopping 10,240 uptick over the RX 6900 XT's 5,120 stream processors. 12. https://www.pcgamer.com/geoff-keighley-promises-no-nft-stuff-at-this-years-game-awards/ The Game Awards will return as an in-person event for 2021, with an invite-only audience at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and many more watching digitally on more than 40 different streaming platforms worldwide. And it's going to be a big one: Host Geoff Keighley told Epic Games that this year's event will feature 40-50 games "some way or another," including new game announcements in the double digits. "It's great to have celebrities, it's great to have music, but I think focusing really on games is important," Keighley said. "Especially this year, there'll be a lot of content for 2022 and 2023 that will be showing us our kind of biggest lineup yet of world premieres and announcements. "What we really learned last year was at the end of the day, it really is the games and the trailers that drive the show." At the same time, this year's show will also apparently have more trailers for "videogame adjacent" content, like television shows or movies inspired by games. Keighley didn't share specifics about what will be shown, but said that "the awards are about half the show and the other half is the announcements and premieres." RECOMMENDED VIDEOS FOR YOU... CLOSE And while The Game Awards viewership is apparently massive, reaching a whopping 83 million livestream viewers in 2020, Keighley said he's looking to expand audiences even further by bringing the show into—you guessed it—the metaverse. "We're thinking about what can we do in Fortnite Creative. What can we do in Core?" Keighley said. "So it's early days with that stuff, but I do think in five years more people will watch our show or participate in our show from within a kind of real-time 3D environment than just watching a traditional video feed." There is one new technology The Game Awards won't be chasing, however. "We're not doing any NFT stuff," Keighley said. The Game Awards 2021 takes place on December 9. We'll be watching and sharing news on the big announcements as they happen.
  13. https://gadgets.ndtv.com/mobiles/news/motorola-moto-g31-specifications-renders-triple-rear-camera-2607295 Motorola Moto G31's alleged renders have been leaked online, showing a hole-punch display and a triple rear camera setup. As per a report, the budget smartphone is expected to launch in two colour options and could come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The specifications of the Motorola phone, expected to be a successor to the Moto G30 which was launched earlier this year, were shared by a tipster last month. The handset has also been spotted on a National Communications Commission (NCC) listing in Taiwan. Citing industry sources, 91Mobiles reported that the Moto G31 will debut in India in Black and Blue colour options. The publication has also shared a few renders that show the same colourways. However, the NCC listing suggested that Motorola may launch the handset in Black and Silver colour options. It also suggests that Moto G31 has XT2173-2 model number. When it comes to design, the renders shared by 91Mobiles show that the phone has a centre-aligned hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. The power button, volume rocker, and a dedicated Google Assistant button are on the right spine. Moto G31 is seen with a triple rear camera setup and there is “50MP” written on the module. Motorola Moto G30 Review: Safe All-Rounder These details are in line with an image shared by tipster Anthony. The image shows a smartphone in Silver colour. The smartphone in the image has the same camera module with “50MP” and “Quad Pixel” text, and a similar button placement as shown in the renders shared by 91Mobiles. The “50MP” and “Quad Pixel” text implies that the Moto G31 may come with a 50-megapixel primary camera. As per Anthony, the phone will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support, a fingerprint scanner, and could be priced at $210 (roughly Rs. 15,600). Moto G31 has also been reportedly spotted on the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) and Wi-Fi Alliance websites, hinting at a 5,000mAh battery. Furthermore, the phone is tipped to feature a 6.4-inch full-HD+ OLED display, a 3.5mm headphone port at the top, and a USB Type-C port.

It means while that hardware is blasting through frames at over 200 fps, the screen wont have a problem flashing each frame up with buttery smooth precision. 17. https://www.pcgamer.com/richard-lowtax-kyanka-founder-of-something-awful-and-onetime-king-of-the-internet-goons-dead-at-45/ Richard 'Lowtax' Kyanka, the founder of Something Awful and a key influence on aspects of modern internet culture, has died at the age of 45. The news was initially posted to Something Awful by longtime forum administrator Fragmaster, who was a personal friend of Kyanka, and Motherboard managed to confirm with the Lee's Summit Missouri police department that Kyanka died by suicide on November 9. "I guess I should preface this by saying this isn't a joke especially since I'm posting for like the first time in 10 years or something, but I got the bad news today directly from Rich's family" wrote Fragmaster. "Lowtax has passed away. I didn't ask for details. I don't know details. I don't know what the current opinion of Rich here is. Not here to answer questions, I'm sharing the news. I really hate to share this news. But there you go. Goonspeed golden manbaby 555s 2 heaven." Fragmaster also shared the below video, in which he delivers a fuller tribute to Kyanka, and encouraged people to donate to a GoFundMe to support Kyanka's daughter. Kyanka's influence on the internet and modern social media, good and bad, is impossible to deny. Something Awful was intended as a comedy website, but its origins can be traced back to Quake. RECOMMENDED VIDEOS FOR YOU... CLOSE "I dropped out of school my junior year because I hated engineering and took a job being a systems administrator for the Vanderbilt Vision and Research Center," Kyanka told Vice in 2017. "In my free time I would play a lot of Quake 2 and write about Quake 2. Around '98, GameSpy said, "Do you want to run PlanetQuake?" So I said, "Yeah, OK," and moved to Orange County. I got paid $24,000 a year to write about Quake 2." Something Awful appeared in 1999, intended as basically a personal comedy website and a place for Kyanka to vent about GameSpy, but with functionality that allowed users to share blogs, pictures and shitpost on forums. The motto: "the internet makes you stupid." And it is probably the shitposting more than anything else that saw Something Awful—and its influence—explode. One thing that would later come to annoy Kyanka was its role in po[CENSORED]rising internet memes (he regarded sharing someone else's humour as unoriginal), with SA giving birth to stuff like "All your base are belong to us" and later the Slender Man urban legend. Other major aspects of SA were the idea of weekly Photoshop Phridays, the emergence of Let's Play videos, and being the launchpad for groups like Mega64. The site's "[CENSORED] You And Die" forum is an infamous troll haunt from which internet figures like dril have emerged. See more But there was always a toxic side to Something Awful. Its members would brigade people and organise harassment campaigns. It encouraged some of the most base online behaviour imaginable and, when those groups became too toxic for even SA, they went off and founded sites that were way worse. Kyanka's decision to ban hentai from SA led one individual to go off and found 4Chan. Hence this image. See more The worst part of Kyanka's biography is accusations of domestic violence that surfaced in 2020, which he denied, and the way they were discussed on the Something Awful forums: in recent history he had become a somewhat-hated presence on the site, and in 2020 sold it to longtime admin Jeffrey of YOSPOS (who, six months later, banned Kyanka's account). Kyanka's legacy is thus both undeniable and extremely mixed. If you were interested in games and the internet in the early 2000s, like I was, SA was simply an omnipresent part of the experience: this was where you went to see the jokes and stupid pictures and rant about Sonic Adventure. Back in the days when people still shared memes by email, I'd swear most of the ones I got originated on that site. Or, as SA poster Breetai put it: "It's like lowtax definitely belongs on the Mt Rushmore of the internet, but also he would be wearing a confederate general's uniform and then be immediately dynamited." As you might guess, a lot of the responses to Kyanka's death come in the form of black humour: which, at least in this case, we can say the man himself would have enjoyed. The founder of Something Awful, Richard Kyanka. (Image credit: Richard Kyanka) "I can't comment on the sordid stuff I have read about Rich in the years since I left the site, but he was never a stranger to controversy" writes redditor Vertigo3PC. "That isn't some platitude to make him seem like a divisive genius; he was a shmuck. But he was our shmuck, so seeing that he's passed away is like finding out the stupid dog that used to bite your ankle 1 out of 5 times you'd see him, but you still associate feelings of home and nostalgia with him, was hit by a car and died." The Something Awful thread announcing Kyanka's death has now been locked. "Thread went from funny jokes to returning goons getting upset at the jokes to intense furry/monstergirl debate to qcs handwringing in just 150 pages," wrote GrimGypsy in one of the final comments, "and now nothing is funny or satisfying and the whole thing just feels annoying. truly a fitting memorial to Richard." Kyanka in his later years became disillusioned with what he'd had a hand in creating, and the internet more generally, looking back on Something Awful's early years as something of a golden age. "I would wake up and instead of going back to sleep like a normal person I would start writing. Most of the time it would be dumb, but it would be stuff that entertained me," Kyanka told Vice in 2017. "That's all I really cared about. Parody, satire, stuff about…I don't want to say current events, but crappy internet things. I would find a page on horrible, scary dolls and I would review the dolls. Parodies of wonks who were saying the internet was the future without saying, 'Well there could be a possible downside to the internet.' I'm obviously not a visionary, but I predicted that the internet would be shitty back in 1999. Everybody was talking about how the internet was going to revolutionize everything and everything was going to be great, but nobody ever talked about how shitty the internet could also be." 20. https://www.techradar.com/news/microsoft-edge-could-soon-become-the-obvious-choice-for-office-users Microsoft is testing a new feature for its web browser Edge that introduces tighter integration with its Microsoft 365 suite of productivity apps. As noted in a post on the Microsoft Edge subreddit, the latest early-access build includes a new option that allows users to launch straight into web-based Word, PowerPoint and Excel documents. To access the feature, users can right click on an open browser tab and select the “New Office tab” option in the context menu. Currently, the Office integration is only available to members of the Microsoft Edge Insider Canary channel, who have opted to receive the most experimental features as soon as possible. Even then, reports suggest only a portion of Canary members have been given access. Assuming no major issues are encountered in testing, however, the functionality should be extended to all users soon enough. Office in Microsoft Edge Although the latest market share figures show Edge is still a long way off market leader Google Chrome, or even Apple’s Safari, the new Office integration will act as additional incentive for the Microsoft 365 customers (of which there are many millions) to make the switch. The rise of remote working has also placed new emphasis on web-based office software, which facilitates real-time collaboration between employees no longer able to consult one another in-person. As such, although the new Edge feature probably falls into the nice-to-have category, easy access to web-based versions of Word, PowerPoint and Excel will be attractive to plenty of users. And in future, there’s no reason the option can’t be expanded to include other Microsoft 365 services too, such as OneDrive, Outlook, Teams and more. With few remaining Internet Explorer and Edge Legacy users to funnel towards Edge, Microsoft will have to work out how to draw people away from other major browsers if its service is to continue to grow. A new Office integration could at least go some way to achieving this goal. Shield your online privacy with the best VPN services around
  21. https://www.pcgamer.com/this-gaming-pc-is-exactly-the-sort-of-deal-you-should-be-avoiding-this-black-friday/ Everyone is getting in on the Black Friday deals fun these days, and that includes Microsoft. Pop over to its deals page and you'll find a range of its own Surface tablet/laptops on offer as well as hardware from other manufacturers. Microsoft was responsible for one of the best deals around this week, with a CyberPower Gaming PC kitted out with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 for under $2,000. Unfortunately, that sold out yesterday. I was eager to see what it was going to replace that with. Man, was I disappointed. Check out our Black Friday deals roundup for the best we've found from across the web. Don't get me wrong, the Corsair One i164 was a great PC. It boasts an impressively compact design that gives the tired old gaming PC concept a really good shakeup. It's also packed with, what at least it was on release, top tier hardware. And boasting a $500 saving on its original price tag, you may be wondering why we're not singing the praises of this deal? Simple: It's still too expensive and it's way too old. The Corsair One i164 is an enthusiast-class gaming PC. With an original price of $3,499.99, this is no budget marvel. So even though it's enjoying $500 off at Microsoft site right now, it'll still set you back (deep intake of breath time) a penny under $3,000. Ouch. Microsoft's Corsair One 'deal' (Image credit: Microsoft, Corsair) For that, you get an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and an Intel 9th Gen Intel Core i9 9900K CPU. This was a top of the line build when it came out, so it's no surprise to see a healthy 32GB of RAM and a 960GB SSD as well as 2TB of hard drive storage. All in that impressively compact chassis. That RTX 2080 Ti was a stunning offering when it first came out and was as good as Nvidia's Turing GPUs got. Problem is, the latest 30-series cards wipe the floor with it, and now the decidedly middling $499 RTX 3070 beats the $1,200 RTX 2080 Ti in plenty of games. The RTX 2080 Ti got very old very, very quickly. That 9th Gen Intel Core i9 isn't looking too clever either. Intel has just launched its 12th Gen Alder Lake hybrid architecture, spearheaded by the Intel Core i9 12900K. That's the high-end equivalent of the Core i9 9900K in the Corsair One—that chip is now three whole generations out of date. Had the price cut been deeper, maybe it would have been worth considering. As it is, you can simply get a lot more for a lot less. Like this one from iBuypower: iBuyPower gaming desktop | Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti | Intel Core i7 11700KF | 1TB SSD | 16GB DDR4 | $3449.99 iBuyPower gaming desktop | Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti | Intel Core i7 11700KF | 1TB SSD | 16GB DDR4 | $3449.99 $2,699.99 at Newegg (save $750) It's not an easy task, buying an RTX 3080 Ti graphics card. That's why a prebuilt gaming PC is one of the best ways to go, providing you need the rest of the PC parts, too. This is still a high-end build with a high-end price tag, but sadly it's likely cheaper than building it yourself out of parts. Or at least quicker.
  22. https://www.pcgamer.com/discord-screen-share-is-causing-forza-horizon-5-to-instantly-crash-for-some/ Forza Horizon 5 players are experiencing the worst kind of crashes. Discord screen sharing is causing both the Steam version (which connects to the Windows Xbox app) and Microsoft Store version to break, according to several reports on Reddit. Interestingly, Discord is listed on a Forza Horizon 5 support page as software known to cause the game to crash, but it doesn't specify what specifically causes it. Many players say as soon as they initiate screen sharing on Discord, the game closes itself and they have to restart it. Some suggest trying Discord's desktop screen capture setting instead of trying to stream the game itself, but doing so will not share the game's audio. Others say to try running Discord's beta "Canary" version to prevent the game from crashing. One user detailed how to Stream the game using the desktop capture method with audio over a series of steps that involve tweaking your PCs audio settings. It's elaborate, but several people have reported it works, if you're up to it. In the known issue list on the game's support page, programs like MSI Afterburner, OBS, and Xsplit are included. All of them are commonly used programs that inject themselves into games to display in-game overlays or to output video streams. Discord's Go Live feature likely runs into the same problems as the other software. Some people have pointed out that 2018's Forza Horizon 4 suffered the same issues with Discord specifically.

The South Korean company says that the new module is a 14nm based 16Gb chip which can be stacked up to 64GB configuration to easily undertake tasks that require fast large-scale data processing. It could be possible that Samsung debuts this module, along with the Exynos 2200 SoC with a superior AMD Radeon graphics chip in the Galaxy S22 flagship smartphones early next year. As per the announcement by Samsung, the next-generation LPDDR5X mobile DRAM “is designed to significantly boost speed, capacity and power savings for future 5G applications”. It also says that the DRAM will offer data processing speed of up to 8.5Gbps, which is over 1.3 times faster than LPDDR5's 6.4Gbps that was launched in 2018. Additionally, the DRAM is also claimed to be more power efficient, and is said to use around 20 percent less power than LPDDR5 memory. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy S22 Series Exact Launch Dates Tipped Samsung says that it will begin collaborating with global chipset manufacturers later this year. Furthermore, it is possible that the South Korean company will debut this technology in the Galaxy S22 smartphones. Reports suggest that Exynos 2200 SoC will be a powerful mobile platform that Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC due to a superior AMD Radeon graphics chip. This DRAM could reportedly help Samsung deliver a powerful yet power-efficient performance in these flagships.
  24. https://www.techradar.com/news/microsoft-officially-launches-visual-studio-2022-and-net-6 Microsoft has announced the general availability of .NET 6.0 developer platform, along with Visual Studio 2022, the all-purpose integrated development environment (IDE) from the Redmond-based company. Both releases are significant, with .NET 6.0 being the first LTS release of the platform since .NET Core 3.1 in December 2019. “There are massive gains in performance, which we’ve seen dropping the cost of hosting cloud services at Microsoft. .NET 6 is the first release that natively supports Apple Silicon (Arm64) and has also been improved for Windows Arm64.” noted Richard Lander, Program Manager, .NET Team, as he revealed the new features of .NET 6.0. The .NET 6 release includes C# 10 and F# 6, and Lander hails it as a unified platform that enables developers to use one SDK to build apps for multiple platforms such as the browser, cloud, desktop, Internet of Things (IoT), and mobile. Visual Studio developers who wish to develop with .NET 6 must upgrade to Visual Studio 2022, since the new .NET platform isn’t supported in Visual Studio 2019. Visual Studio 2022, which is the first release of a 64-bit version of Visual Studio, brings in several new and useful features. Of particular interest is the Hot Reload feature, which enables developers to edit code while the apps are running. The feature in fact became a point of contention, when Microsoft suddenly decided to axe it from the open source SDK, and instead make it an exclusive Visual Studio 2022 feature. The backlash against the move forced Microsoft to backtrack and reverse its decision.
  25. https://www.pcgamer.com/microsoft-to-stop-supporting-onedrive-on-windows-8-and-earlier/ A quick public service announcement for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 users. Microsoft will stop supporting its cloud storage solution, OneDrive, on these operating systems as of March 1, 2022. This means that these versions of OneDrive not only won’t receive new updates, but also will lose the ability to automatically upload files. Users will be able to access OneDrive, and manually upload and download files via a browser, as well as continue to use OneDrive on other devices as normal. Microsoft states the decision has come in order to focus on newer products and technologies, and unsurprisingly advises users to upgrade to either Windows 10 or 11 to get the best out of the software. Of course there are other cloud storage products around, so it may be worth checking if any of those meet your needs while working with your OS if you’re determined to stay. Or you could always switch your gaming PC to Linux. It's easier than you might think. Black Friday 2021 deals: the place to go for the all the best early Black Friday bargains. For most, we’d recommend switching to Windows 10 for now, despite this pretty obvious push by Microsoft to get people on the latest OS. The have just been too many problems with Windows latest OS, even if they are slowly getting sorted out. Windows 11 is pretty new, and I wouldn’t necessarily recommend everyone go out there and upgrade straight away, especially if you’re still rocking Windows 10. If you do, you may want to check out how best to optimise it for gaming first, especially as VBS might be enabled on some PCs. If you are looking to upgrade to Windows 11, but need a little help we have you covered. You can find out everything you need to know before you upgrade, plus where to download, and how to install Windows 11 at these helpful links.
