  1. https://www.techradar.com/news/windows-11-users-voted-for-the-return-of-clippy-and-now-its-back-sort-of Windows 11 has got some new emoji which are Fluent-style to keep in line with the rest of the redesign of Microsoft’s revamped desktop OS, and Clippy is back in the mix here (more on that later). As Microsoft revealed in a blog post, support for Emoji 13.1 has been brought in as part of the November 2021 cumulative update in preview (meaning it is still in testing). Should you want to take a look now, you can head to Windows Update, check for the latest updates on Windows 11, and grab the KB5007262 preview patch. Sponsored Links If You Spend Time on Your Computer, this Vintage Game is a Must-Have. No Install. Forge of Empires - Free Online Game Microsoft points out that once installed, you can hit the Windows key + period (full-stop) key to peruse the new additions within the popup emoji picker. As well as the new emoji, KB5007262 brings a number of changes that include tackling some of the issues with File Explorer, such as fixing a bug where it stops working after closing a window. Analysis: Clippy’s back, but in 2D, not 3D The new emoji are more modern-looking to be in line with the overall Fluent Design vibe of Windows 11 as we mentioned at the outset. They look pretty smart on the whole, we think, and of course it’s noteworthy to see Clippy pop up here as the paperclip emoji. You might remember that Clippy is back by po[CENSORED]r demand, as Microsoft implemented a vote for the iconic assistant’s return back in July 2021, and a sizeable number of folks gave the thumbs-up in that poll. It’s a welcome and fun addition, for sure. However, what has touched a few nerves here is that initially (back in July), Microsoft previewed some 3D-style Fluent Design emoji, and these new additions are clearly simple 2D affairs. In October, Brandon LeBlanc, Senior Program Manager of the Windows Insider team, tweeted to clarify that the 3D emojis which were originally aired a few months previously were the “wrong graphics” and apologized, but left many folks still feeling unhappy that they’d been hoodwinked into believing something better was in the pipeline.
  2. https://www.pcgamer.com/this-oculus-quest-2-black-friday-deal-knocks-dollar50-off-everything-you-need-to-get-started-in-vr-plus-dollar50-credit/ The Oculus Quest 2 is going to be a huge seller this Black Friday even without further Oculus Quest 2 Black Friday deals, with stock unlikely to last through till Cyber Monday. Last year saw the most desirable VR headset around fly off the shelves and, thanks to a recent 128GB refresh, the story will likely be the same for the Oculus Quest 2 over the 2021 deals season. While the hardware hasn't seen any discounts there are a few retailers offering $50 rebates. Which is all well and good but Amazon credit is more useful than Oculus store credit (which is what you get by buying direct), and now Jeff Bezos and his merry mob have sweetened the deal even further: offering the Starter Pack for $299.99, a saving of $48.01. This amounts to the headset, the controllers, and the official carry case for the kit (the whole point is it's portable VR, so the case seems useful). For more Black Friday gaming PC deals... here they are. Oculus Quest 2 Oculus Quest 2 Starter Pack | VR Headset |Motion Controllers | 128GB storage | Carry Case | $348.00 $299.99 at Amazon (save $48.01) The Oculus Quest 2 both improves on the specs sheet of the original Quest and delivers it for cheaper. With a new LCD at 1832 x 1920 per eye, the Quest 2 offers exceptional clarity for an entry-level headset, through which you can enjoy a slew of games either purpose-built for the standalone headset, and thus rendered by the onboard Snapdragon XR2 chip, or beamed from your PC using Oculus Link and a compatible USB Type-C cable. It's now capable of up to 120Hz refresh rate, thanks to a recent update, making it an even sweeter deal. The Quest 2 sits proudly atop of our best VR headsets guide thanks to its superb spec for the price and how simple it is to use. Press a button, slip it on, and you're all set. The headset can manage around two hours of gaming time on battery, albeit at a lower-power and with some visual tradeoffs. Alternatively, a single USB Type-C running from the headset to the PC will see it at full power. The Oculus Quest 2 is easily the best VR option out there and, with Black Friday looming, expect the Oculus Quest 2 128GB model to go fast.

  4. https://www.pcgamer.com/black-friday-gaming-keyboard-deal-our-favourite-wireless-board-is-cheaper-than-ever/ If you're in the market for greater control in games, and something clacky enough to annoy your home-office neighbour, then this is the Black Friday gaming keyboard deal for you. With Logitech you can't really go wrong when it comes to QWERTY-based peripherals, and now that the wireless G915 is now $199.99, its lowest ever price, it's certainly worth considering. It's absolutely up there when it comes to the best Black Friday gaming keyboard deals this year, even though the $50 discount isn't quite all it's cracked up to be. Realistically it tends to hover around the $230 mark, but it's still a decent price drop on a quality board. For more Black Friday gaming PC deals... here they are. Logitech G915 Logitech G915 wireless mechanical gaming keyboard | Tactile | Black | $249.99 $199.99 at Amazon (save $50) Our main problems with this keyboard is the price, so this deal is a welcome one. It's still not cheap, but you'll feel the benefit for the extra cash for years to come as you WASD through virtual worlds with greater comfort and control. Well, I say quality, but I haven't actually tested it myself. I'm more of a Corsair person myself. My CPU, keyboard, and mouse match and everything, all in the same RGB-ified logo—I'm ashamed of myself, honestly. Anyway, don't take my word for it: currently we consider it our best wireless gaming keyboard, fifth overall. That's because of its excellent 30-hour battery life, lag-free wireless capabilities, and low-profile switches. In fact, Jacob, our Senior Hardware Editor, uses this very keyboard every day, and really only pointed out the price as an issue in his review of the Tenkeyless version; You can get similar features for plenty less if you go wired, he says. Both the Corsair K100 RGB Optical—our overall favourite—and the Mountain Everest Max tend to be cheaper, with similar, premium specs. That said, this deal brings the G915 closer to parity with those heavy-hitters, which may tempt you further to cut the cord. Also, the TKL version is also discounted to it's lowest ever price on Amazon to $179.99, but it's lingered around the $180 mark before. If you do decide to push the boat out and take advantage of this Black Friday gaming keyboard deal, it'd be silly to not pair it with the best wireless gaming mouse. If you're like me and want to go matchy-matchy, then the Logitech G502 Lightspeed Wireless is the one to go for, with its numerous macros, great design, and adjustable weight.

  6. https://www.techradar.com/news/windows-11-update-fixes-embarrassing-kaspersky-bug If you've updated to Windows 11 and are having trouble running antivirus software from Kaspersky, you're in luck as Microsoft has released a new build of its operating system that contains a fix for the issue. Windows 11 Build 22000.348 is now available to download for Windows Insiders on the Beta and Release Preview Channels and this latest build contains a number of fixes and other stability improvements. In a separate blog post, Microsoft pointed out that “We fixed a known issue that might prevent apps, such as Kaspersky apps, from opening after you attempt to repair or update the apps using the Microsoft Installer (MSI).” If You Spend Time on Your Computer, this City-Building Game is a Must-Have. No Install. Forge of Empires - Free Online Game According to Kaspersky, its customers first started having problems running its antivirus on Windows 11 after the software giant released KB5007215 (OS Build 22000.318) on November 9. While Microsoft has fixed a known issue that prevents Kaspersky's antivirus and other apps from opening after a user tries to repair or update them using Microsoft Installer, the cybersecurity firm is advising its customers to avoid installing Microsoft's Windows updates. In a new support document, Kaspersky explained that the latest round of updates from Microsoft for Windows 7 through Windows 11 have led to issues that affect its antivirus as well as its endpoint protection software, saying: “After the installation of a Windows update Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows keeps functioning correctly and the security of the system remains intact. However errors may occur at attempts to upgrade the application, install a private patch or change the scope of the application components.” The company's customers now have a choice to make. They can either install Microsoft's update which contains a number of other fixes and risk that Kaspersky Antivirus may no longer work or avoid installing Microsoft's update and have Kaspersky's products work as intended. Kaspersky customers can check out the company's advisory for more information but unfortunately, this is a choice they'll have to make on their own. Looking to secure your Windows machines? 7. https://www.pcgamer.com/save-dollar600-on-an-rtx-3080-gaming-pc-with-a-whole-32gb-of-ram/ If you're looking for an RTX 3080 gaming PC deal, this Absolute Battlestations pre-built machine is the whole package for $2,699. While 30-series Nvidia GPUs are still difficult to get your hands on, finding a full machine with the GPU you want is a good way to go. With this particular early Black Friday deal build, you'll be future-proofing your entire setup, not just snagging a new GPU. This build is on a $600 discount, with the headline component of course being that GeForce RTX 3080. Even without Cyberpunk 2077 looming over us like last year, it feels like everyone is still scrambling to get their hands on the 30-series GPUs this season. No surprise, as its still the best graphics card for your gaming PC. Going with a pre-built machine isn't a bad strategy if you've been considering multiple upgrades alongside a new graphics card. For more Black Friday gaming PC deals... here they are. It is worth noting that ABS say the brand may vary on which 3080 GPU you get included with your system. Not a huge concern perhaps, but you should be aware that you won't know exactly which manufacturer's card will show up in your case. ABS Gladiator | Ryzen 7 5800X | GeForce RTX 3080 | 32GB RAM | 1TB M.2 SSD | Corsair liquid cooling| $3,299.99 ABS Gladiator | Ryzen 7 5800X | GeForce RTX 3080 | 32GB RAM | 1TB M.2 SSD | Corsair liquid cooling| $3,299.99 $2,699.99 at Newegg (save $600) This gaming PC comes in a Corsair mid-size ATX tower and includes a Corsair CPU cooling system. It should set you up to not need significant upgrades for several years between that hefty RAM total, the NVME SSD, and the RTX 3080. VIEW DEAL The nice thing about this particular pre-built deal is that you're getting several future-proof components alongside the GPU. You aren't getting yourself upside down in a system that still wants for better parts just to nab one of the 30-series cards. In particular, that 32GB of DDR4 RAM should keep primed to game for several years. Even if you're planning to play the new crafting survival game Icarus in December, which wildly recommends 32GB of RAM. Alongside that pile of RAM, the 1TB M.2 SSD is also a good get. It's a decent bit of space to work with for having your favorite big games installed. If you're hungry for more space than that, check out the Black Friday SSD deals to snag an additional drive. For a handy $600 off, this is a good all around system if you're looking to do a full upgrade this year.

  9. https://www.pcgamer.com/a-patch-for-skyrim-anniversary-edition-is-here-to-fix-black-screens-and-break-your-mods/ A patch for Skyrim means different things to different people. For some the reaction is "Oh good, this should fix that issue I've been having." For many others it's "Oh no, this is gonna break absolutely everything." Today's patch for Skyrim, version 1.6.323, is mostly to address the black screen issue occuring when some players tried to launch the game or load modded saves. But the same patch may wind up sidelining your mods, just like the Skyrim Anniversary Edition did when it launched on November 11. The problem is, since Skyrim Anniversary Edition isn't a separate entity to Skyrim Special Edition, but is instead an "upgrade," that means if an Anniversary Edition issue is patched, that patch is also applied to the Special Edition. And any Skyrim patch means some mods will have compatibility issues until they're updated for the new version. So even if you didn't buy the Anniversary Edition upgrade, today's patch might bust your mods. Again. Sponsored Links If You Need to Kill Time on Your Computer, this City-Building Game is a Must-Have. No Install. Forge of Empires - Free Online Game Reaction to today's patch is pretty mixed, with many players not wanting the update at all because once again it renders the ever-important Skyrim Script Extender, incompatible with the new version—until SKSE gets updated again, which will hopefully be soon. At least a few people stated it does actually fix the black screen issue, so that's a plus. If you want to play Skyrim Special Edition without applying the patch (presuming you've already set Steam to not update Skyrim automatically), you can launch it through Skyrim Script Extender or through Nexus Mods Vortex launcher with the "don't update automatically" setting selected. Or if you want to avoid this mess altogether and "downgrade" Skyrim Special Edition back to version 1.5.97, there's a mod for that. And yes, the mod's been updated today and should work with Skyrim version 1.6.323. What a pain in the ass all of this is, huh? This probably would have been much easier if SAE and SSE were just two entirely different games (as Rockstar recently discovered). The patch notes are brief, but here they are: Fixed a problem preventing some doors in Rielle from opening properly. Fixed an issue where Russian and Polish notes were not displaying text properly. Fixed an issue where German and French players were given incorrect menu text when leveling up. Fixed an issue where players were experiencing a “black screen” and upon launching.

The new flagship SoC also integrates a new 18-bit Imagiq Gen 7 ISP that claims to be the world's first to capture a 320-megapixel image. It also offers support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth v5.3. 12. https://www.techradar.com/news/bitdefender-launches-black-friday-antivirus-deals-where-you-can-save-up-to-70 We've already ranked Bitdefender as one of the best antivirus providers out there, so it only makes sense to take advantage of this with its freshly-announced Black Friday deals. This particular deal saves you a huge 70% off a full year of protection, of up to five devices. From an iPhone to a MacBook Pro, yours and your family's devices will be protected until the end of 2022 for as little as $17.99 for the entire year. It also throws in useful extra features such as a basic VPN, as well as device optimization so you can be protected across the internet, as well as on your devices. All three of Bitdefender's plans aim to protect your device in one way or another, but this offer does end on the 14 December. Why do we think Bitdefender is the best antivirus? Bitdefender is a package that looks out for any potential attackers on your devices, while keeping guard as you browse the internet. it has powerful anti-malware and spam detection tools as well, but it's also incredibly easy to set up and use while having minimal impact on the performance of your devices. If you have a family and you want to have their devices protected as well, you'll find it difficult to find an anti-virus package as good as Bitdefender. Below we have listed our top five reasons for why we consider this antivirus software to be the best: While we can't see the price of the plans dropping much further over Black Friday and Cyber Monday, we'd recommend signing up to one of the Bitdefender plans that best suits you before they end on December 14. Other Bitdefender deals No matter where you live, you'll find all the lowest prices for Bitdefender deals from around the web right here, with offers available in your region.
  13. https://www.pcgamer.com/this-rtx-3080-gigabyte-laptop-is-dollar450-off/ If you've been on the hunt for a graphics card upgrade, this laptop might be your way into the Nvidia 30-series club. The Gigabyte Aorus 15P YD comes equipped with an RTX 3080 and is currently $1949 on Newegg, which saves you $450 off the regular price. The price is pretty competitive when it comes to laptops that have a 1080p screen, Intel i7 processor, 32GB of RAM, and a 3080. One of our favorite gaming laptops, the Razer Blade 15, has similar specs and is commonly priced at $3,000. The 3080 in this thing is the laptop version of the elusive desktop GPU. In other words, it's the lower-spec 8GB GDDR6 memory version of the GPU, coming at reduced clock speeds (it can boost to 1,245 MHz) compared to the 16GB version. The laptop version of the 3080 runs at speeds much closer to a desktop 3070 because it actually has the same GA104 GPU inside. A 3070, for comparison, can boost up to 1725MHz. The Aorus 15P YD doesn't come with a 1440p or 4K screen. Typically, we recommend a 1440p screen as a compromise between 1080p and 4K. This laptop's IPS screen makes up for a lackluster resolution with the ability to speed up to 300Hz. In my experience, higher refresh rates are life-changing for competitive games like Halo Infinite and Overwatch, but in something turn-based, for example, it's not as important. Reducing the lag between your inputs and seeing it on screen is a big deal, but if you play slower-paced games, you won't benefit from it as much. For more Black Friday gaming laptop deals... here they are. $2,399.99 Gigabyte Aorus 15P YD | Nvidia RTX 3080 | Intel Core i7 11800H | 32GB RAM | 1TB SSD | $2,399.99 $1,949.99 at Newegg (save $450) No immense 4K screen here, only 1080p, but who needs super high resolution when you can have speed? This RTX 3080 and Intel 11th Gen lappy is topped with a 300Hz panel and more ram than you could shake a... stick at. Right now, at under $2K, its worth a look. VIEW DEAL This laptop pairs its 3080 with an Intel Core i7 11800H processor. It's an 8-core, 16-thread CPU that can boost up to 4.6GHz. You also get 32GBs of RAM. Both of these components make this laptop capable of non-gaming applications like video and photo editing, if that's your thing. The Aorus 15P YD escapes the laptop problem of having a tiny SSD, but not by much. Its 1TB SSD is not nothing, but it'd be nice to see even more than that. Modern games can have huge install sizes and swapping out which ones you have stored on your system is both a pain and potentially costly depending on if you have a data cap. For the price of this laptop, this isn't a huge knock, but it's something to consider if you tend to download lots of games and applications. The laptop's design is pretty subdued. It doesn't scream 'gamer' with a futuristic design and loud color accents, but it does come with a full RGB keyboard. It also has several useful ports, including three USB 3.2 ports, one Thunderbolt 4 port, one mini DisplayPort 1.4 port, and one HDMI 2.1 port, SD card reader, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Confirming the news, the show's official Twitter account said, "Ready yourselves, friends. Season 2 of Arcane is now in production. Where's a Hexgate when you need one?" The collaboration between Riot Games and Netflix has been so po[CENSORED]r that League of Legends pick rates for characters featured in the show have skyrocketed. Apparently that po[CENSORED]rity is well-deserved. As Steven Messner wrote in his review of Arcane's first act, "The curse of videogame movies and TV spin-offs being shit is well and truly broken, and Netflix's Arcane has delivered the killing blow." He praised its painterly art style and kinetic fight scenes, as well as its balance between political drama and character development. This week Riot also surprise-released two new games, Ruined King and Hextech Mayhem, which are the first games released under its Riot Forge label. Ruined King was developed by Airship Syndicate, and has similar JRPG-style combat to the studio's previous game Battle Chasers: Nightwar, while Hextech Mayhem is a rhythm runner by Choice Provisions, creator of the Bit.Trip series. And if it is possible to put a free jetpack every five rounds anywhere in the map. And also adding a jetpack to all players like command amx_fullpack. There is another suggestion to add a color to the LM other than blue. I hope to make a special area for Tutorials so that everyone can share what they have. The benchmarking website hints at key specifications of the 5G-enabled smartphone from the Chinese tech giant. A dedicated microsite on Vivo's Thailand website has also surfaced online. Vivo has teased that its upcoming 5G smartphone will get a 44-megapixel primary shooter, unlike the 4G variant which gets a 50-megapixel sensor. Furthermore, Vivo V23e 5G's colour options, RAM, and storage configurations were leaked earlier this week. There are multiple Geekbench listings for a Vivo V2126 phone, believed to be the upcoming Vivo V23e 5G. It received a single-core score in the range of 471 and 558 points, while its multi-core test scores ranged from 1,551 to 1,726. The listing shows that the Vivo smartphone is powered by MT6833V/PNZA V MediaTek's internal codename for the Dimensity 810 SoC. The chipset is shown to be paired with 8GB of RAM and runs Android 11. The launch of Vivo V23e 5G was confirmed earlier this week and now a dedicated microsite has also appeared on Vivo's Thailand website. The microsite doesn't divulge much information about the upcoming smartphone, apart from the fact that it will get a 44-megapixel primary camera along with an ultra-wide angle lens. The smartphone visible on the microsite has a design similar to the Vivo V23e 4G which was launched earlier this month in Vietnam. Vivo Y76 5G to Launch on November 23, Triple Rear Cameras Teased Earlier this week, tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore shared official renders of the smartphone along with some key specifications. Ambhore mentions that Vivo V23e 5G will be offered in Moonlight Shadow and Sunshine Coast colour options. Furthermore, the Vivo smartphone is said to be offered in a sole 8GB + 128GB storage variant. The renders show a waterdrop-style notch for the selfie camera. The flat display is shown with thick bezels and an even thicker chin. At the bottom, Vivo V23e 5G seemingly only gets a USB Type-C port and a speaker grille at the bottom. The volume rocker and the power button are shown on the right spine of the smartphone.

With iOS 15.2 currently in testing, Apple has been focusing on rolling out significant features across more .1 updates. In previous years, we've seen the trackpad appear on iOS 13.4, alongside ProRes in iOS 15.1 in October of this year. It wouldn't be a stretch to expect an iOS 15.7 by the time we see iOS 16 with more significant features. iOS 16 supported iPhones Apple tries to support a variety of iPhone models in every new iOS release. iOS 15 supports iPhone 6S at a minimum, which was released in 2015. It wouldn't be a stretch to expect iOS 16 to support the iPhone 7 series at a minimum, but with some features held back, mainly due to the hardware limitations of the camera, or the chip inside certain iPhone models. Every iOS release comes with a major feature, but also a bunch of minor improvements across the board. If you still have an iPhone 8 for instance, you may reap the benefits of some of the small features in iOS 16 when it arrives. But you will most likely miss out on the big feature that Apple will showcase. Redesigned Camera app iPhone 13 Pro (Image credit: TechRadar) The iPhone camera has seen huge improvements in recent years, with more lenses being added and features such as Night Mode and Cinematic Mode being introduced. However, this has meant that the camera app has begun to feel bloated. Accessing forced flash or exposure settings requires a few more swipes than we’d like, alongside hidden gestures that don’t feel needed. With the impending release of iOS 15.2, we’re also about to see a new macro button appear, which will help you to more accurately set up those close-up shots when needed. This is just for the iPhone 13 series, though. Starting afresh with the camera app could help new users take photos in a whole new way, alongside giving existing users a fresh way of taking photos and videos. It wouldn’t be a stretch to assume that Apple has more big plans for the cameras in future iPhone models, which will also mean new features that we’ll be switching on and off when required. Let’s see an app that’s redesigned for what came before, and lays the groundwork for what’s coming next. QuickNote to iPhone macOS Monterey Notes and Quick Note (Image credit: Apple) This is a feature that appears in iPadOS 15 and macOS 12 Monterey, where you can drag your finger from the bottom-right corner, and you can quickly type in some notes, no matter where you are on your device. There are many gestures you can do on an iPhone, so there’s no harm in adding one more. Dragging from the bottom right corner would display a note that you could quickly type in, and save for a later date. With your thumb being your primary point of interaction with your smartphone, it's an easy win that can really help with quickly jotting something down. It will also save the strain of your thumb instead of reaching for the Control Center on the top right, and selecting the Notes icon. Home Automation widgets Using the Home app on an iPhone 13 Pro in iOS 15 (Image credit: Apple) Since widgets were given a makeover in iOS 14, alongside the ability to place them anywhere on the home screen, some other apps have not been forthcoming with their own widgets to help reduce some steps. One blatant example is the Home app. You may have a selection of smart lights in your home where you use the app to help manage these. But if you want to quickly switch on a light, you may experience a delay if you ask Siri, or if the app isn’t responding, which has happened often in our experience. Having a widget on your home screen for your smart lights could really help reduce the steps in quickly switching the bedroom lamp on, instead of having to find the Home app. It’s a little strange that the widget hasn’t appeared as yet, but we’re hoping it arrives, not only to iOS 16, but future versions of macOS and iPadOS as well. Air apps Apple AirPods Pro (Image credit: Apple ) If you own one of the AirPods peripherals, or an AirTag, you may find it very cumbersome to try and manage each of these. AirPods settings are only accessible through Bluetooth from within the Settings app, while AirTags settings are accessible through the Find My app. Being able to manage these through a centralized ‘AirThings’ app could relieve a lot of confusion as to what you own from Apple. Third-party vendors such as Sony bring out certain apps that can help you manage headphones and more to better manage the features that these bring. Being able to do the same, without having to go to Bluetooth within the Settings app, could bring a lot of simplicity to managing your devices. Better theme options Three iPhones running iOS 15 (Image credit: Apple) Back in 2019, we saw an onslaught of themes thanks to a few new features that the Shortcuts app provided in iOS 13. With Shortcuts, you can use the app to create launch commands for other apps, and place an icon of your choice on the home screen for it. This has resulted in many themes being made available for iPhone users. YouTuber Marques Brownlee created a short guide to create your own icons with Shortcuts. But iOS 16 could go further. A new category in the App Store could enable themes to be downloaded and then selected within the Settings app. You could also choose different colors and sounds for notifications and set them as a separate theme, which could also be enabled with Automations in the Shortcuts app. Third-party developers could perhaps make their own sounds and themes available as well. While there would be restrictions on changing other app icons, it could further expand the individuality that users want from their devices.

CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme | Core i5 11600KF | RTX 3060 | 16GB RAM | 1TB NVMe SSD | $1,469.99 CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme | Core i5 11600KF | RTX 3060 | 16GB RAM | 1TB NVMe SSD | $1,469.99 $1,229.99 at B&H Photo (save $240) This is a tasty deal on a gaming PC that will gobble up your games and spit out a smooth frame rate at 1080p. The RTX 3080 is core to this deal, although the six-core, 12-thread Core i5 11600KF is worth highlighting too. The rest of the spec is on point, with a healthy amount of RAM and storage, and it's all contained in a vibrant, blinged-out chassis. You even get a keyboard and mouse while saving $240 off the normal price. VIEW DEAL The rest of the specification is solid too, with no obvious compromises undermining the whole deal—something we've definitely seen elsewhere. That means you've got 16GB of DDR4 RAM present, and that's two sticks of the stuff, so the system is operating at optimal dual-channel mode. Then there's the 1TB NVMe SSD to make sure that you're not waiting around for your games to load, which is exactly what we'd want from any PC these days. This is a standard PC chassis as well, so if you want to add to the specs with your own hard drives/SSDs, then you can. It's a pretty sweet looking machine as well, with the three front fans all picked out in their RGB splendour and a fourth fan tucked behind the CPU helping to keep your components cool. That side window affords a great view of the PCs innards, which undoubtedly means you'll find yourself staring in awe at the machine's light show whenever you turn it on. With a total saving of $240, this is a quality deal on a system that makes the most of the RTX 3060 at its heart.

  21. https://www.pcgamer.com/games-workshop-fights-back-against-fascist-hate-symbols-in-the-warhammer-40k-community/ Warhammer 40K creator Games Workshop released a statement earlier today outlining a zero-tolerance policy for hate groups at officially-sanctioned events. "The Imperium is driven by hate. Warhammer is not," the post begins, before explaining the difference between its game's setting and behavior that's actually acceptable at community events. A zero-tolerance policy against hate groups doesn't necessarily seem like it would need to be spelled out, but Games Workshop's statement was indirectly referencing a recent Spanish Warhammer 40K tournament. The specific incident is thoroughly laid out in this post on the Spanish-language blog "El Descanso del Escriba." To summarize, an individual participating in an 800-player tournament in Talavera, Spain regularly competes under a nickname obliquely referencing Adolf Hitler. He attended the event wearing multiple Nazi symbols, including the logo of the 13th Panzer division, which committed numerous atrocities in Poland during World War 2. Any participants who refused to play against him were penalized by the tournament organizers, and they refused to ask the individual in question to leave. The Dead Kennedys delivered an eloquent response to their presence in the punk scene in 1981, and subsets of the heavy metal community have remained a haven for Neo-Nazis and their like. Wargaming has struggled with this issue from its very earliest days, with players all the way back in the '60s suspiciously favoring one side in WW2 games and founding magazines with names like "Fourth Reich." This is also not the first time this issue has come up with regards to Warhammer itself.

Meanwhile, the images shared by the Twitter user suggested that the Galaxy S21 FE could sport a similar screen to the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, with a punch-hole camera. A screen showing a setting to allow reverse wireless charging can also be seen, which suggests the device could retain its predecessor's ability to charge accessories wirelessly using the built-in 4,500mAh battery. As per a new entry in the company’s product roadmap, the Microsoft Teams app store will soon receive an upgrade that makes it easier to identify the most useful third-party integrations on a user-by-user basis. “With the redesigned Teams Store, you’ll find a landing page optimized for ease of discoverability with rotating banners at the top that spotlight interesting apps and scenarios,” explained Microsoft. Sponsored Links Do You Like to Play on Your Computer? This Number 1 Vintage Game is a Must-Have. No Ads, No Install. Forge of Empires - Free Online Game “You’ll also get intelligent recommendations - like features apps and those po[CENSORED]r amongst your colleagues. And editorial articles that surface collections of apps that address common scenarios.” As part of the same update, Microsoft will also rejig the app categories to make it simpler for users to find apps they are actively searching for, including those built and deployed by in-house developers. The new-look app store is still under development, but should roll out to all users at some point next month. Microsoft Teams apps Although collaboration platforms like Teams, Zoom and Slack offer a deep range of in-built functionality (video conferencing, VoIP, messaging, file-sharing etc.) vendors have worked hard to build upon this foundation with third-party integrations. Since the start of the pandemic, Microsoft has repeatedly reiterated its intention to turn Teams into a central hub for work. By building as wide a range of functionality into the platform as possible - from cloud storage and CRM to project management, calendering and more - the company hopes to eliminate issues that arise as a result of app overload. “Over the last year, we have found new ways to create engaging virtual experiences at work. We’ve transformed spaces in our homes to offices, developed new skill sets for remote collaboration, and in some cases, adopted new technology to get work done,” said Nicole Herskowitz, Teams GM at Microsoft, a few months back. “I often hear from our customers about the burden of using different tools to accomplish similar tasks at work. This is one of the reasons I’m excited to give you more ways to use the tool you rely on every day.” With the arrival of the new app store next month, Microsoft will hope to further its campaign to make Teams the only app workers need. 24. https://www.pcgamer.com/gigabyte-a5-x1-gaming-laptop-deal-newegg/ Gigabyte has been the standout Black Friday gaming laptop hero so far this year, with outstanding deals on a host of different machines. This $1,599 RTX 3070 notebook is going for the same price we've seen some RTX 3060 laptops retailing, and is a perfect case in point. But, while we make a big thing out of the graphics chip at the heart of a gaming laptop that's not the only thing to have an impact on performance. And the rest of the spec of the Gigabyte A5 X1 really stands out, too. Alongside that quality Nvidia GPU is one of the top AMD mobile processors, the Ryzen 9 5900HX. That's an eight-core, 16-thread Zen 3 CPU that can clock as high as 4.6GHz. The 5000-series AMD chips have been a bit of a revelation, and show just how far the company has come. It's a great all-round CPU, and no mistake. For more Black Friday gaming laptop deals... here they are. The laptop screen is impressive, too, with the A5 X1 sporting a 1080p IPS panel that comes with a lightning-quick refresh rate of 240Hz. Along with the RTX 3070, that makes it a great gaming monitor. I will say that this Gigabyte machine is no thin-and-light, and comes with a relatively chunky chassis. At 4.68 lbs there's a fair bit of heft to it, but that should also mean it's got space to cool the 140W GPU at its heart. Gigabyte A5 X1 | 15.6-inch | Ryzen 9 5900HX | RTX 3070 | 1080p | 240Hz | 16GB RAM | 512GB SSD | $1,799 Gigabyte A5 X1 | 15.6-inch | Ryzen 9 5900HX | RTX 3070 | 1080p | 240Hz | 16GB RAM | 512GB SSD | $1,799 $1,599 at Newegg (save $200) This is the cheapest RTX 3070-based machine we've found so far, and the rest of the package makes it one of the finest, too. The AMD CPU is an eight-core stunner and the 240Hz screen is a pro-move as well. Our only issue is the slightly miserly 512GB SSD. But it also comes with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a healthy 512GB SSD. I'd suggest that's maybe the weakest part of the spec, however, and you'll quickly fill up half a terabyte with the size of the latest crop of PC games. You can be sure there will be Black Friday SSD deals on internal as well as external SSDs, should you wish to expand the storage on this otherwise super-tempting system. So, that shouldn't be too much of a worry.
