  1. Apple recently released its latest iOS 16.1 update to the public with a plethora of new additions. While the build carried numerous features and changes, Apple also implemented the necessary bug fixes and performance enhancements. However, a major issue that came with iOS 16 is battery drainage, and it has been plaguing iPhone users. Scroll down to see how Apple's latest iOS 16.1 update performs in a new battery drain test. Latest iOS 16.1 Battery Drain Test Shows Little Improvements Over iOS 16.0.3 on New and Old iPhone Models iOS 16.1 brings various new additions that Apple initially announced at its WWDC event. It includes Live Activities, a battery indicator on additional iPhone models, and much more. A new video has been shared on YouTube by iAppleBytes that showcases battery life performance on new and older iPhone models running iOS 16.1. The battery drain test was conducted on the iPhone 13, iPhone 12, iPhone 11, iPhone XR, iPhone SE, and iPhone 8, running Apple's latest iOS 16.1. The YouTuber used Geekbench to test the battery life performance. All iPhones were charged at 100 percent and running on 25 percent screen brightness with auto-brightness turned off. Lastly, all iPhones are connected to the same WiFi network. Check out the video below for more details. As can be seen in the video, the iPhone 8 and iPhone SE lasted for about 3 to 3.5 hours before the entire battery drained. However, the iPhone XR and iPhone 11 lasted for about 5 hours and 45 minutes. The iPhone 13 scored the most, with 9 hours and 12 minutes of total run time. You can check out more details in the video. In contrast to iOS 16.0.3, iOS 16.1 does not bring any major battery life improvements to the table. If you are having issues with your iPhone, we recommend trying these battery life fixes. This is all there is to it, folks. What are your thoughts on the subjects? Is your iPhone experiencing battery drain issues after updating to iOS 16.1? link: https://wccftech.com/ios-16-1-battery-drain-test-shows-minimal-improvements-on-new-and-older-iphone-models/
  2. An article published by Igor's Lab confirms that NVIDIA's Frame Generation technology is applied at the tail end of the frame processing pipeline and perfectly compatible with FSR 2.0 and Intel XeSS AI Up-scaling pipelines. While there isn't any real advantage to doing this, it didn't stop Igor from taking some pioneering benchmarks of what the numbers would be like and surprisingly, it seems that FSR + Frame Generation can actually beat DLSS + Frame Generation in pure performance figures. AMD FSR + NVIDIA Frame Generation beats DLSS in NVIDIA RTX 4090 benchmarks Let's begin with some context. Frame Generation is a technology that is part of NVIDIA's DLSS 3.0 stack which generates artificially created frames between two frames generated by DLSS' AI implementation. Think of these frames like padding between two computationally generated frames. As it turns out, if you are an NVIDIA 4000 series GPU owner, you can actually use NVIDIA frame generation with frames that re being computationally generated by Intel XeSS or AMD FSR 2.0. The picture quality between AMD FSR 2.0 + NVIDIA Frame Generation and DLSS + Frame Generation seems fairly comparable although NVIDIA Frame Generation and Intel XeSS appear to be on the softer side of things. So without any further ado, here are the benchmarks from all three configurations: link: https://wccftech.com/nvidia-frame-generation-tech-benchmarked-with-xess-and-amd-fsr-pipelines/

  4. Taganout helped AS FAR secure its first title in the African event. Rabat - The African Football Confederation (CAF) has selected AS FAR midfielder Fatima Tagnaout as the best player at the second edition of the Women’s Champions League. The 23-year-old Moroccan footballer received the prize in Rabat on November 17 after the final game between AS FAR and South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns. The Moroccan club succeeded in securing its first title ever in the tournament after defeating their opponents 4-0. Tagnaout contributed to the AS FAR successful journey in the tournament by delivering three goals and four assists for the team. The first score was against Zambia’s Green Buffaloes in the second Group A match, leading to a 2-1 victory for the Moroccan team. Tagnaout’s last goal was against the South African club as she opened the final match by scoring in the first 15 minutes through a penalty. Read Also: CAF Women's Champions League: King Mohammed VI Congratulates AS FAR Speaking to CAF Online, Tagnaout expressed her joy in receiving the pan-African recognition, thanking her teammates and club for the support. “I want to say Bravo to my teammates and I thank them very much because without them I could not have won this award,” Tagnaou said. “I will not fail to greet and thank all Moroccan supporters in general and ASFAR in particular. Thank you, everyone." On November 9, CAF featured Tagnaout in the best XI squad for the Women’s Champions League along with teammates Khadija Er-Rmichi, Siham Boukhami, Ghizlane Chhiri, and Nouhaila Benzina. The 4-3-3 formation group placed Tagnaout as forward along with Simba Queens’ captain Opah Clement. The team also included Green Buffaloes' Ireen Lungu and Bayelsa Queens' Maryann Ezenagu in the midfield and Mamelodi Sundowns’s forward Lelona Daweti, as well defender duo Bambanani Mbane and Zanele Nhlapho. In July, Tagnaout was featured in CAF Best XI for the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations alongside Ghizlane Chebbak and Zineb Redouani. The trio played an instrumental role in making the national team reach the final against South Africa. Despite ranking second, the performances of Morocco’s national women’s team breathed new life into women’s football in Morocco, with Tagnaout and her teammates serving as role models for rising female football players. © Morocco World News. 5. Dominic Raab is accused of presiding over a "culture of fear" at the Ministry of Justice Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has said he is "not aware" of formal complaints against Dominic Raab, who has been accused of demeaning colleagues. Several newspapers have reported allegations of bullying by Mr Raab, who was reappointed justice secretary and deputy prime minister by Mr Sunak. Mr Sunak said he did not "recognise that characterisation" of Mr Raab. Mr Raab's spokesman said he "holds himself to the highest standards of professionalism". Mr Sunak has come under pressure over his judgement after Sir Gavin Williamson resigned last week over allegations of bullying and threatening behaviour. Mr Sunak also faced criticism for reinstating Suella Braverman as home secretary just six days after she was forced to step down for breaching the ministerial code. On Friday, the Guardian said it had spoken to multiple sources who alleged Mr Raab's behaviour with civil servants had been "demeaning" and "very rude and aggressive" during his first stint at the MoJ between September 2021 and September 2022. Mr Raab was sacked as justice secretary and deputy prime minister by former PM Liz Truss, but was reappointed to those roles by Rishi Sunak following his election as leader by Tory MPs. The Mirror reported Mr Raab had acquired the nickname "The Incinerator" because he "burns through" staff. The Sun, meanwhile, suggested Mr Raab had once hurled tomatoes from a salad across a room in a fit of anger, a claim a spokesman for the Cabinet minister said was "nonsense". The prime minister told reporters travelling with him to Indonesia for the G20 summit: "I don't recognise that characterisation of Dominic and I'm not aware of any formal complaints about him. "Of course, there are established procedures for civil servants if they want to bring to light any issues." Downing Street said that the prime minister believed that people in public life should treat others with "consideration and respect". A No 10 spokesperson said that, while they were not aware of any formal complaint concerning Mr Raab, there were procedures available to civil servants if they had concerns. "There are established procedures by which civil servants can raise complaints. These processes allow allegations to be looked at and considered with due process and a fair hearing," the spokesperson said. And a spokesperson for Mr Raab said: "The DPM has worked in government for over seven years as a minister or secretary of state across four departments and enjoyed strong working relationships with officials across Whitehall. "He consistently holds himself to the highest standards of professionalism and has never received nor been made aware of any formal complaint against him." 'Weak leadership' Labour's deputy leader Angela Rayner said: "This is yet another example of Rishi Sunak's poor judgement and weak leadership. "As families struggle during a cost-of-living crisis made in Downing Street, yet another Tory government has descended into chaos." The Liberal Democrats have written to the Cabinet Secretary Simon Case, calling on the Cabinet Office to publish a list of ministers who have credible allegations of bullying made against them. The party's deputy leader, Daisy Cooper, said: "The prime minister is clearly determined to sweep these allegations under the carpet. "If the Cabinet Office knew about these allegations then they must make that public now." A spokesperson for Mr Raab said he had "worked in government for over seven years as a Minister or Secretary of State across four departments and enjoyed strong working relationships with officials across Whitehall. "He consistently holds himself to the highest standards of professionalism and has never received nor been made aware of any formal complaint against him," the spokesperson added. link: https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-63624528
  6. An 8-year-old boy recently killed a venomous cobra in India after recieving a venom-free "dry bite" from the snake and then biting back in retaliation. A venomous snake has died after being bitten by a small boy. No, you didn't read that wrong. In a bizarre reversal of nature, an 8-year-old boy in India killed a cobra after biting it in retaliation. The child bit back at the dangerous animal after receiving a rare venom-free "dry bite" from the serpent, according to reports. The boy, identified in reports as Deepak, was playing outside near his house in Pandarpadh, a village in the Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh state, when he encountered an unknown species of venomous cobra ("cobra" can refer to any snake in the Elapidae family, most of which have hoods). After coiling its body around Deepak's hand, the cobra bit Deepak, which left the young boy "in great pain," The New Indian Express(opens in new tab) reported. "As the reptile didn’t budge when I tried to shake it off, I bit it hard twice," Deepak told local media. "It all happened in a flash." Deepak's family rushed him to the nearby hospital where he was treated with anti-venom, but doctors say the bite likely did not contain any venom, even though the snake was probably venomous. Every year, around 5.4 million snakebites — from venomous and nonvenomous species — occur worldwide, according to a 2020 review published in the journal Toxins(opens in new tab). Approximately 2.7 million of these bites inject venom into the victim, which causes around 138,000 deaths. It is hard to tell exactly how many snakebites from venomous species are dry bites, because victims can often misidentify which type of snake bit them; and because dry bites can still cause inflammation, which can be misdiagnosed as an envenoming, according to the study. Experts believe that venomous snakes choose to use dry bites as a defensive mechanism to warn off larger animals that they have no intention of killing; this was probably the case when the cobra bit Deepak. Venom is energetically expensive to produce, so snakes will often choose not to use it unless they have to, according to the study. India is home to around 100 species of venomous or mildly venomous snakes, according to the Indian wildlife organization Wildlife SOS(opens in new tab). It also has the highest number of snakebite deaths in the world, with venomous bites killing an estimated 46,000 people every year, according to the study. Fortunately for Deepak, his encounter with the cobra had a happy ending — for him, if not for the snake. link: https://www.livescience.com/child-kills-venomous-cobra
  7. This white-on-white Lincoln was former president Lyndon B. Johnson's personal car, used to drive around his Texas ranch. • A highlight of 1960s American automotive design, the "suicide door" Lincoln Continental was the choice of transport for many a famous person. • This all-white convertible, up for auction at Bring A Trailer, was the personal vehicle of Lyndon Baines Johnson, 36th President of the United States. • It was used by LBJ to tour around his sprawling Texas ranch, making this Continental both a mid-century icon and a rolling piece of presidential history. Politics aside, there are plenty of reasons to admire what a character President Lyndon B. Johnson was. Especially when it came to cars: he owned an Amphicar and was known to terrify unsuspecting passengers by pretending to lose control and "crash" into a lake, where the car simply floated off. He was a big man with a Texas-sized personality, and when he needed something to drive around his 1500-acre ranch, LBJ went big there too. Delivered in October of 1963 to the LBJ Corporation of Austin, Texas, this 1964 Lincoln Continental is currently up for auction at the site Bring a Trailer—which, like Car and Driver, is part of Hearst Autos. Bidding sits at $75,000, with the auction slated to end on Wednesday, November 16. What you get here for your money is both a part of history and a truly elegant machine. LBJ himself could be a bit crude—the recording of a phone call where he orders a pair of pants is legendarily crass—but his taste in automobiles can't be faulted here. The fourth-generation Lincoln Continental was the Ford Motor Company's broadside against Cadillac, and it hit home. Beautiful in the simplicity of its design, it was finished to a very high quality, and it immediately found favor with the nation's elite. The convertible version was the first four-door convertible offered by an American manufacturer in the post–World War II period. link : https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a41954161/1964-lincoln-continental-convertible-bring-a-trailer-auction/
  8. The Session Arts Club chef’s recipes ring the changes on the traditional Christmas lunch There are some things that should never change at Christmas. Our towering pine tree will always bend as it touches the ceiling, dripping with mismatched baubles, tinsel and lights, and a plump handmade fairy sitting on top. Lunch will always be served later than planned and everyone will share their terrible cracker jokes while wearing a paper crown. For me these are part of the immutable rituals of Christmas, but our meal is something that has changed. We’ve moved on from turkey to a rich savoury duck sitting proud with its crisp skin and blush flesh. Bowls of steaming lentils sticky with dates are punctuated with bitter deep purple radicchio. This works as a perfect pairing and I no longer miss roast potatoes, although they would still eat well with this meal. Creamed horseradish and pickled walnuts still play an important role at our table keeping at least some of the traditionalists’ content. Crab, samphire and chilli Succulent samphire coated in rich crab mayonnaise is a wonderful way to begin the meal. For 4 samphire 90g good quality mayonnaise 40g dijon mustard ½ tsp brown crab meat 100g, picked lemon juice of 1 small Tabasco to taste Worcestershire sauce to taste baby spinach leaves 150g, washed chives 1 small bunch, finely chopped tarragon 8 sprigs, picked and roughly chopped red chillies 2, deseeded and finely diced white crab meat 200g, picked Bring a pot of water to the boil. Once boiling, add the samphire and cook for 2 minutes or until tender with a little bite. Drain and refresh in ice-cold water. In a large bowl mix together the mayonnaise with the mustard, brown crab and lemon juice. Stir in a couple of drops of Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce to taste. Advertisement Drain the samphire, removing all excess water. Gently fold it into the spinach, herbs, chilli and white crab meat, and then into the bowl of mayonnaise in two turns so as not to overwork the mixture. Divide it evenly between plates and arrange in piles.
  9. The University of Virginia remained under lockdown Monday, hours after three people were killed and two injured in a shooting near a parking garage on campus, authorities said. A search was underway for the suspect, who university President Jim Ryan said was a student at the elite, 22,000-student school. "Update: Active search still underway on and around UVA Grounds. Remain sheltered in place. Please stay safe, thank you for your patience and understanding," the UVA Police Department tweeted at about 9:30 am Monday. Police said a shooting was reported at about 10:40 pm Sunday on the northern edge of campus, tweeting: "UVA Alert: ACTIVE ATTACKER firearm reported in area of Culbreth Road. RUN HIDE FIGHT." Ryan said counseling and psychological services would be made available to students. Classes were canceled Monday. “This is a message any leader hopes never to have to send, and I am devastated that this violence has visited the University of Virginia,” Ryan wrote in an open letter shared on social media. “This is a traumatic incident for everyone in our community.” The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said agents were assisting in the investigation. Gov. Glenn Youngkin said State Police were coordinating with local authorities, adding that he and his wife, Suzanne, were "praying for the UVA community." link: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2022/11/14/university-virginia-shooting-suspects-victims/10695450002/

  16. Poco X5 5G was spotted on the BIS India database with the model number 22101320I. Content: Poco X5 5G launch in India and US markets is expected soon as the handset has reportedly received approval from the Bureau of India Standards (BIS) and Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The Poco X4 series made its debut earlier this year as the successor to Poco X3 series, through the launch of Poco X4 GT and Poco X4 Pro 5G models. However, the latest certification website database's reported citing indicate that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has already begun working its successor in the Poco X5 series which will feature the Poco X5 5G as its first model in the lineup. Poco X5 5G has appeared on the BIS and FCC certification database websites with model numbers 22101320I and 22101320G, respectively, according to a report by MySmartPrice. The FCC spotting has also seemed to suggest certain specifications of the Poco X5 5G model in terms of software, battery, design, and connectivity. However, the BIS citing has not revealed any specifications of the device model number 33101320I, tipped to be the Indian variant of the Poco X5 5G smartphone. In terms of software, the Poco X5 5G model may run on MIUI 14, the FCC listing indicated. Meanwhile, the device is hinted to sport a rectangular cutout to house its camera module. The Poco X5 5G model smartphone may support dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity while supporting 6 bands of 5G connectivity in the n5, n7, n38, n41, n77, and n78 bands. Furthermore, the smartphone is hinted to come packed with a 4900mAh battery backup, which could be marketed as a 5000mAh smartphone, according to the report. Additional rumours around the Poco X5 5G smartphone suggest that the upcoming Poco handset may feature an IPS LCD panel display that could offer a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone has also been tipped to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC. POCO India's chief Himanshu Tandon had recently taken to Twitter to squash claims that the upcoming Redmi Note 12 5G will launch in India as a rebranded POCO smartphone while also hinting at the launch of the rumoured Poco X5 5G smartphone in India. link: https://www.gadgets360.com/mobiles/news/poco-x5-5g-spotted-bis-india-fcc-us-database-expected-launch-soon-3514215
  17. New rumors regarding Intel's next-gen desktop CPU lineup including Raptor Lake Refresh, Meteor Lake & Arrow Lake have been disclosed. Intel Readies Raptor Lake Refresh Desktop CPUs For Late Q3 2023, Meteor Lake Up To Core i7 & Arrow Lake Up To Core i9 In 2024 Once again, we have the latest rumors coming from Enthusiast Citizen who talks about at least 3 upcoming Intel Desktop CPU families. These include the Intel Raptor Lake Refresh, Meteor Lake & Arrow Lake. The details can be found below. Intel 13th Gen Raptor Lake Refresh Desktop CPU Lineup (2023): Intel won't be moving away from its 13th Gen Raptor Lake CPUs for the majority of 2023. In fact, the company plans on launching a Raptor Lake Refresh family around the second half of 2023, or Q3 to be precise. This family will be based on a slightly optimized 10ESF node, allowing the blue team to squeeze 100 or 200 MHz more out of the chips. The company will also be launching the flagship Core i9-13900KS early next year but that's not a part of the Raptor Lake Refresh family. A small bump in frequency may not be noticeable and won't deliver the same kind of gains that AMD offers with its next-gen X3D parts which are expected in the first half of 2023. The 13th Gen Raptor Lake family will be compatible with the existing Intel LGA 1700/1800 socket. Intel 14th Gen Meteor Lake Desktop CPU Lineup (2024) Intel's 14th Gen Meteor Lake-S Desktop CPUs will take a step back and reduce the number of P-Cores while retaining the number of E-Cores. The lineup listed in leaked charts includes five different SKU configurations with the top variants featuring up to 22 cores in a combination of 6 P-Cores and 16 E-Cores. The P-Cores on the Meteor Lake CPUs are based on the brand-new Redwood Cove architecture while the E-Cores will utilize the Crestmont design. Both of these are new and improved architecture as reported by Coelacanth-Dream a few weeks back. The full list of configurations includes: Meteor Lake-S 22 (6P + 16E) / 4 Xe Cores / 125W TDP In addition to the SKUs, we also get to learn that all SKUs will feature at least 4 Xe Cores for the iGPU and that's going to offer 64 Execution Units or 512 ALUs. That's 2 Xe Cores less than the DG2-powered Arc A310 graphics card which is the lowest-tier discrete board in the family but an integrated GPU with this much capability will be on par or even better than the RDNA 2 iGPU on AMD's Ryzen 7000 Desktop CPUs. Only the top die configuration will have a 125W "Unlocked" SKU range while the rest will come in the standard "Non-K" and "T" series with 65W and 35W TDPs. The one thing to note here is that the 14th Gen Meteor Lake CPUs will only be available in up to Core i7 parts and there will be no Core i9 part due to the lowered core count. The CPU will retain the Intel 4 (CPU) + TSMC N5 (tGPU) + TSMC N6 (SOC) process nodes. Intel 15th Gen Arrow Lake Desktop CPU Lineup (2024) The Intel 15th Gen Arrow Lake-S Desktop CPUs will bring back the 24 cores that we get on Raptor Lake CPUs today. The Arrow Lake-S top die will utilize up to 24 cores which will be a combination of 8 Performance Cores and 16 Efficiency Cores. According to the Enthusiast Citizen, the lineup will only come in Core i7 and Core i9 flavors. The CPU will retain the Intel 4 (CPU) + TSMC N3 (GPU) SKU node layout. It is rumored that the 20A node won't make its way to the desktop lineup. Following is the full list of SKUs to expect from the lineup: Arrow Lake-S 24 (8P + 16E) / 4 Xe Cores / 125W TDP Arrow Lake-S 24 (8P + 16E) / 4 Xe Cores / 65W TDP Arrow Lake-S 24 (8P + 16E) / 4 Xe Cores / 35W TDP link : https://wccftech.com/intel-raptor-lake-refresh-2023-meteor-lake-core-i7-arrow-lake-core-i9-2024-desktop-cpu-rumor/

  21. Redemption arc A year after Battlefield 2042’s release, EA has announced some great updates ahead of its Season 3 release of this battle royale shooter. The most exciting feature coming to Battlefield 2042 will be the return of classes. Comprising the roles of medic, recon, support, and assault, each one provides you with different weapons and abilities that allow a team to forge a game-winning strategy – but that's not all the changes they have in store for us, as the game takes on the free-to-play route. Dial it back Along with the prospect of a new map being added in Season 3, we will also be getting reworks to two existing maps: Manifest and Breakaway. Manifest will see the removal of redundant playspace while bringing HQ flags closer to the action, an update similar to those we saw in the maps Kaleidoscope, Renewal, and Orbital. Breakaway’s biggest change will be moving the oil rig closer to the action. Along with these updates, Season 3 will also see the game go free-to-play, a new specialist added, a brand new battle pass, event, hardware, and continuous updates to the quality of play. It looks like these will be a great step forward for Battlefield 2042. If you want to read up on all the new features, check out the latest Battlefield 2042 update briefing. One of the most controversial original changes to Battlefield 2042 was the removal of classes. DICE’s choice to remove gadget specificity made the decision between classes like recon or assault almost pointless. If you could choose any primary weapon, no matter the class, then what made a class unique? I can only think of the synergy between specialist gadgets and secondary gadgets, which isn’t massively impactful. The die is cast While some thought that this gave the player more autonomy, others were left wondering why DICE decided to scrap a feature that wasn’t broken. Like most shooters, Battlefield 2042 seemed to enter an identity crisis. This was a minor blip in which many studios were desperate to emulate the po[CENSORED]rity of new games like Fortnite and Apex Legends, and so shifted the personality of a game towards these smash-hit games. DICE seemed to borrow elements from Call of Duty and Apex Legends, with one of the biggest similarities between Battlefield 2042 and Apex Legends being the abilities of certain specialists; looking at you, MacKay. In trying to mix up Battlefield 2042’s formula, DICE may have forgotten why so many players loved the series. People don’t play Battlefield because it reminds them of Apex Legends; they play it because they love what makes Battlefield unique. While it’s important to grow and adapt to the current situation, it’s nice to see DICE going back to basics with classes. Back to basics Battlefield 2042 multiplayer didn’t have the easiest start in life. Soon after its release, it was review-bombed with 30,000+ negative reviews on Steam, making 74% of the total reviews negative. Unfortunately, these stats haven't improved, with a massive 117,593 negative reviews on Steam. The crux of the matter was that many players found Battlefield 2042 unplayable. Whether it was server crashes or stuttering motion, many felt let down by DICE and EA. However, with this new update, it looks like DICE is finally paying attention to the needs of its player base. “We’ve heard you”, says DICE in the update explainer video, “your feedback has been instrumental in how we’ve been able to evolve and improve the game”. The return of classes probably stems from an attempt to get people interested in Battlefield 2042 again and grow the player base. We don’t know if these changes will smooth things over for disgruntled fans a year after the game's release, but if games like Cyberpunk 2077 can come back from the brink with great updates and user engagement, then there’s no reason Battlefield 2042 should be counted out. 22. Or the best, depending on who you are. You know when you think something is truly, unquestionably bad and are surprised to learn that it's actually pretty po[CENSORED]r? For me that's Shipment(opens in new tab), a Call of Duty map that I consider to be the worst FPS arena ever shipped for consumption. Activision announced this week the fan-favorite location is one of two new maps making its Modern Warfare 2(opens in new tab) debut during Season 1. To many, Shipment's arrival in Modern Warfare 2 is cause for celebration. To others it’s a disappointing, yet unsurprising, return of a bad thing that some people inexplicably love. The tiny, square-shaped maze of shipping containers has a 15-year history beginning with the original Call of Duty 4. Back in 2007, its reputation was clear—I have distinct memories of sitting in quiet pre-game lobbies that'd suddenly erupt into overlapping curse words and outbursts of "come on" when Shipment was revealed as the next map in rotation. It was bad, but it was also memorable. Since then, the map has reappeared in various forms across 10 CoD games. It has become tradition (at least for some of Activision's CoD studios) to include Shipment in its map pool, even though by all forms of logic, it's a terrible idea. Shipment makes zero sense on paper: the total area is so cramped that it's nearly impossible to spawn in a location where enemies aren't already looking. Spawnkills are constant, survival feels random, and a lack of cover gives dominant killstreaks free rein to murder every living thing on the map. Shipment is the embodiment of all cliches about Call of Duty that non-players espouse against it—that it's a brainless, low-effort meat grinder. link : https://www.pcgamer.com/the-worst-map-in-all-of-videogames-is-coming-back/
