The move should mean more features get added to Square's po[CENSORED]r Cash App Payments processing giant Square looks set to press ahead with its acquisition of Credit Karma’s tax division for $50 million. Following a concerted effort to beef up its po[CENSORED]r Cash App, Square will use the purchase of Credit Karma’s free-to-use tax filing service to provide the perfect supplement to its mobile application. As previously reported, Credit Karma is currently in the throes of being purchased by accounting software giant Intuit, which owns Turbo Tax. The deal, said to be worth $7.1bn, has drawn attention from the US Justice Department. It has expressed concerns that having Credit Karma and TurboTax under the ownership of one company would reduce customer tax filing choices. Selling off the tax unit of Credit Karma to Square following an instruction from the US Justice Department means the deal gets the green light and Square gets to add another dimension to its growing portfolio of products. We've also featured the best UK tax software Take a look at the best bookkeeping software Check out the best free accounting software Square’s Cash App service has already been expanded to offer more functionality, with customers now able to transfer money via peer-to-peer payments along with paying for goods and services. Beyond that, the Cash App can now be called upon to search for and invest in stocks, as well as allowing users to buy and sell bitcoin. “We created Cash App to provide more access to the masses of people left out of the financial system and are constantly looking for ways to redefine our customers’ relationship with money by making it more relatable, instantly available, and universally accessible,” said Brian Grassadonia, Cash App Lead. “That’s why we’re thrilled to bring this easy-to-use tax product to customers as we continue to build out the suite of tools Cash App offers. With this acquisition, we believe Cash App will be able to ease customers’ burden of preparing taxes every year.” "Filing taxes is critical and challenging for all Americans, and in recent years we’ve seen more customers shift to filing taxes themselves. Credit Karma Tax provides a seamless, mobile-first solution for individuals to file their taxes at no cost,” said Patrick Fink, Director of Engineering, Credit Karma Tax.

Resizable BAR (Base Address Register), the technology behind AMD's Smart Access Memory (SAM), isn't exclusive to Ryzen owners anymore. Asus has released an entire wave of new firmwares for various Z490 motherboards that enable the Resizable BAR feature. The firmware, which sports the 1002 version number, is fresh out of the oven as Asus evidently uploaded it just yesterday. The firmware is currently in the beta stage so there might be some bugs here and there. It also lacks a detailed description of the changes. We can, however, confirm that the 1003 firmware effectively brings support for Resizable BAR, as evidenced by the newly added "Above 4G Decoding" and "Re-Size BAR Support" options in our ROG Maximus XII Apex motherboard's BIOS. We're not surprised that motherboard vendors are already rolling out Resizable BAR on Intel platforms since the technology is part of the PCIe specification after all. Shocking as it may sound, AMD's engineers are working with both Intel and Nvidia to get the feature working on the latter two's products. It's touching to see companies putting their rivalries and pride aside for the benefit of consumers. Currently, AMD's Radeon RX 6000 (Big Navi) series are the only graphics cards that support the Resizable BAR technology. Nvidia has already confirmed that Ampere supports the feature but, the chipmaker didn't provide an estimated timeframe on when it will be enabled. At the current stage, it's also uncertain if Asus' Z490 motherboards can now leverage the technology with Big Navi or it's just preparing future support. With AMD, Nvidia and Intel working together, cross-platform compatibility is definitely a possibility. On AMD's front, Smart Access Memory is exclusive to the company's latest 500-series motherboards, although ASRock has quietly extended it back to previous B450 motherboards too. Nvidia, on the other hand, has said that its equivalent of Smart Access Memory will work on standard PCIe 3.0 interfaces so there shouldn't be any reason why the feature wouldn't work on any motherboard with a PCIe 3.0 slot. Smart Access Memory isn't a miracle solution, but in the right titles, it can provide a small uplift in performance. Much of Smart Access Memory's recipe remains a secret so we don't know exactly what kind of magic AMD has worked into the technology. What's more interesting will be Nvidia's implementation and whether it can provide the same level of improvements as Smart Access Memory.

Game Information Initial release date: November 10, 2020 Software developer: Sports Interactive Series: Football Manager Genre: Sports video game Translations into Basque: Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Ceres, Mac OS, Mac OS Publishers: Sega, Sega Europe Limited While last year's game focused on improving things for the long-term Chris Wilder wannabe – development centre, club vision, etc – Football Manager 2021 implements changes that make it straightforward for anyone to enjoy from the get-go. There isn't a single improvement that steals the headlines, but the culmination of countless small improvements make FM21 a no-brainer upgrade. That's not to say there aren't some, er, questionable design decisions made in this iteration, but as a whole, Football Manager 21 is a more complete package. Fluid, attacking football Every aspect of Football Manager is vital, from training to transfers, but the place you immediately notice improvements is on the pitch. The game still doesn't flaunt the FIFA-esque visuals plenty of fans desire, but every animation from shots flying into the corner to last-ditch sliding tackles look more fluid and natural. Player behaviour has gone the same way too. Last year, it would be nothing short of a miracle if a player scored a one-on-one with the goalkeeper. Now, the striker is very much favoured, as would be the case in real life. Cutting the ball back across the face of goal has been non-existent in Football Manager for years too with wingers preferring to blast the ball into the side netting, baffling armchair managers everywhere. While that can still happen, you sometimes see a cut back, squaring it to a teammate in front of goal instead. Small improvements like this are seen throughout the course of a match, resulting in a wider range of goals being scored and ultimately more variety and realism. I've even seen multiple players chip the 'keeper, including Mane in the last minute to beat my Manchester United team 3-2. Gesticulating wildly Outside of match days, the biggest overhaul comes in the form of how you interact with other people, be it your players, the media, agents, and more. If you're speaking to someone in person – for example, answering a question from a journalist or having a one-to-one chat with a player about his concerns – you can select which body language you want to use. Pointing your fingers is assertive, outstretching your arms is welcoming, you get the gist. These do have extremes, like throwing a water bottle during a team talk or banging your fists on the table in a press conference, but for the most part these are the previously seen tones such as passionate, calm, or aggressive simply rebranded. reporter to another as you answer them. While this does make press conferences more visually appealing, the diversity of responses is still incredibly lacklustre and makes for repetitive press conferences once again. Rather than just changing the layout, the entire system needs to be revamped, because speaking to the media is a crucial part of a football manager's job but is frankly boring in-game. UI, xG, and GG If I were to list all the minor tweaks and changes to Football Manager 2021, I'd be here all day, but there are a few smaller additions that have proven to be essential during my first full season. Topping the list is xG. If you're an avid football fan, you're familiar with the concept of xG, or "expected goals". This is a stat that analysts use to judge how many scoring opportunities a team has had, so if your team's xG is 1, you're expected to have scored a goal. 2-0 up with an xG of 0.3? You're clinical in your finishing, scoring from unexpected scenarios. It hasn't been in FM until now but there isn't a chance I can go back to playing without it, because it is so essential to judge how your team is performing. Some aspects are still missing, like the ability to see a specific player's xG-per-90 throughout a season, but when it comes to stats in the middle of a match, it's a lifesaver. The matchday UI is also significantly changed, intending to put an emphasis on the action and make it more like a TV broadcast. Accessing your tactics and substitutes is now at the bottom of the screen in the "dugout", so you can make quick subs and see your players' fitness levels and morale at a glance. The problem is that a player’s morale is now represented by a face icon, which means very little compared to the brief descriptions and coloured arrows the series had previously. Knowing how players have reacted to your shouts is much more difficult, because you need to click on each individual to see the word. Apparently a red smiley face means they look complacent, a green smiley face means they're inspired, but a red unhappy face means overwhelmed? It's not game breaking, but does feel like a small step backwards amidst the leaps and bounds forward, trying to fix something that wasn't broken. A special shout out has to go to how well Sports Interactive have optimised Football Manager 2021. It runs like an absolute dream, even on lower-end machines, with loading and saving times quickened across the board. It's something that will likely go underappreciated since it's not affecting actual gameplay, but is worth mentioning thanks to the vast array of machines and builds people will try to play Football Manager on. Football Manager 2021 is the most accomplished series entry in years. It's more accessible than ever, there are countless quality-of-life changes that make this iteration feel like a serious breath of fresh air for devotees, and the match engine is the best it’s ever been. There are a number of great minor additions that I haven't mentioned here – pre-transfer window recruitment meetings, removal of percentages for fitness, "regen" player faces looking miles better, to name a few – which all come together to make this a pure delight to play. Our test build features a few minor bugs, like pass maps looking like there are a hundred players on the pitch and the interviewer not turning up for post-match interviews, but in true Sports Interactive fashion, I've little doubt they'll be patched before long. Even with those small flaws it's safe to call Football Manager 2021 the best one yet. Here are the Football Manager 2021 System Requirements (Minimum) CPU: Intel Core 2 or AMD Athlon 64 1.8 GHz + OS: Windows 7 (SP1), 8/8.1, 10 (Update 1903/May 2019 or later) 64-bit. VIDEO CARD: Intel GMA X4500, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT or AMD/ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 256 MB VRAM. FREE DISK SPACE: 7 GB.

The COVID-19 pandemic has left a lot of students, workers and people in general across the world cooped up at home, stuck in Zoom meeting after Zoom meeting and struggling to stay positive and keep themselves in a good mental state. And it looks like the current state of things is going to continue for several more months to come. On this episode of Now What, we interviewed award-winning educator Dara Feldman, whose team has created an app called Virtues Cards that gives a boost to parents, educators, team leaders and anyone who is trying to stay strong during the pandemic. The app offers a daily dose of inspiration on the human qualities everyone can call on to persevere during tough times. Virtues Cards is a free download on iPhone (rated 4.8) and Android (rated 5.0). It comes with samples of five "decks" of cards (Resilience, Reflection, Education, Family and Character). Each deck has a simple, inspirational reading about the best qualities of being human. To unlock all of the cards in a deck costs $1 to $2, depending on the deck. The practice of using the app can be as simple as "doing a virtues pick" once a week in a meeting or once a day at lunch, for example. You can open the deck you want in the app and shake your phone to get a random pick. These are like mini meditations or affirmations to inject the day with jolt of positivity.

ECS has announced the E22-MH410 and the E24-MH410 all-in-one PC models featuring a 2 MP webcam certified with Windows Hello The EliteGroup Computer Systems, or ECS, has announced the E22-MH410 and the E24-MH410 all-in-one PC models. These models offer uncompromising performance, partly due to the Intel 10th generation processors and DDR4 RAM with a RAM speed of 2,666. This unparalleled performance also offers support for dual storage, combining the breakneck speeds provided by M.2 SSDs and a larger capacity but slower, 2.5-inch SATA drive. This dual storage allows for faster boot times, while the 2.5-inch SATA connection allows for easier mass storage. These models' design is incredibly similar; both the E22-MH410 and the E24-MH410 AiO PC utilizes a 21.5-inch and 23.8-inch screen, respectively. Both of these screens support Full HD resolution that delivers stunning visuals while offering high color accuracy for photo or video editors. These models also have the option to include a 10-point touch screen that supports swipe, scroll, drag, and pinch gestures, which are perfect for any user who wishes to navigate a webpage or scroll down on a long word document. Game Information Initial release date: 2020 Software developer: Tim 17 Series: Worms Publisher: Tim 17 Genre: Shooting game Platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Windows This year marks Worms' 25th anniversary, and in that time it's largely stuck to its tried and tested formula. There have been spin-offs and a detour into 3D, but picking up a new Worms game usually guarantees that it's going to be a turn-based artillery romp with exploding environments and maniacal invertebrates. Worms Rumble promises a shake-up to get rid of some of the cobwebs, but I'm not convinced it's the kind of shake-up the series needs. Making Worms a real-time affair seems sacrilegious, but I was genuinely quite excited to play a game of Worms where I had no idea what was going to happen. New territory, at last. And it's not just real-time—it's a 32-player deathmatch and battle royale deal. Awkwardly chasing trends sounds like a recipe for disaster, but I still had high hopes. Worms is always a laugh. I'm sure it will be fine, I thought to myself. It took only one deathmatch battle (the battle royale mode isn't ready yet) before I transformed into a curmudgeon who just wanted to moan about how Worms was better back in the day. It all feels so wrong! No teams, no destructible terrain, a focus on reflexes and speed instead of tactics—it's bizarre. It seems to have more in common with Soldat, which is also getting a sequel this year, than Worms. But then I played a bit more and, despite my doubts, actually started to get into it. It's missing so much of what I adore about Worms, but as a fast-paced 2D arena shooter it's actually got a few things going for it. The closed beta only contains a small selection of weapons and items, and it's absent lots of good stuff like ninja ropes, jetpacks, suicidal sheep and a lot of my faves—but the weapons that are available feel great, spitting out big cartoon projectiles and creating plenty of worm-obliterating explosions. Rumble has also preserved the slapstick nature of the series, despite the fact that the beta has hardly any of the previous games' comedic ingredients. Instead, it all comes from the real-time fights, with costumed worms hopping around, jumping on launch pads and pulling off improbably acrobatic moves. There's room to be precise and smart, but most of my fights have been chaotic, frantic battles where the outcome is never assured. One confrontation sticks in my mind. I was being chased by a heavily-armed worm who had me outgunned and I just could not lose them. I took elevators, ducked into air vents and rolled into a wee worm ball to give myself a speed boost, but to no avail, until we walked right into the middle of a much larger fight. Somehow we both survived, but the tables had turned. They were down to a sliver of health and seemed to be out of ammo, so the chase began again. Air vents, elevators, worm balls—but this time I was the hunter. We were both taken out by another player's holy hand grenade. It's only thanks to the shift to real-time that these chases are possible, and being able to react instantly to an attack instead of waiting for my turn—if my worm survives—is a novelty that I've enjoyed. But it's hard to ignore the fact that I'd probably be having a lot more fun if I could blow up the terrain or take advantage of the extreme physics to knock enemies all the way across the map. In Rumble, only stuff like air vent grates and the occasional wall can be destroyed, while the physics has been toned down quite a bit. Only one map is available in the beta, but it's a big 'un. It's still 2D (or 2.5D, rather) but has more in common with a battle royale map than, say, Worms WMD. It's a sprawling thing full of different areas, like a car park, cinema and rocket silo, and if you've got an enemy worm in your sights there's almost always a bunch of different ways you can approach them. Along with the elevators and air vents, there are also ziplines, and plenty of paths both sneaky and obvious. It's the sort of place you'll have to explore before you can really take advantage of it. The map might be too big, however, but it's hard to say because I've not been able to play with a full group. While Worms Rumble supports up to 32 players, I've yet to play a match with more than 20 during the beta. It's also visually very stale. A car park? A cinema? The art style is considerably more subdued than any game before it, featuring little of the wacky, cartoon charm of its forebears. It doesn't even have any fun with the scale. Instead of having tiny worms duking it out amid human-sized cars and buildings, everything has been shrunk down to worm-size. Or maybe the worms are just very large. I'm glad Team17 doesn't feel beholden to tradition, but the scope of the changes and the features that have been yanked out makes Rumble feel like more like a spin-off than a new Worms, and even Worms Crazy Golf has more in common with the rest of the series. The omissions also include local multiplayer and bots, so it's a pure online PvP game. As someone who plays Worms almost exclusively offline, it's just another indicator that it's not really for me. I think there's a way to marry the classic Worms shenanigans with dramatically new features, but this ain't it. The online PvP focus also gives me some worries about its potential longevity. It's a big risk, and you could fill a book with all the games that have dropped off the face of the Earth because the online scene died. Without an alternative, it's going to need a consistent playerbase to keep the worm wars alive. System Requirements OS: Windows 10 64-bit. Processor: Intel Core i5-2300 or FX-4350. Memory: 4 GB RAM. Graphics: 2GB NVIDIA GeForce or 2GB AMD Radeon.

KBB Editors’ Overview KBB Overall Rating: 4.3 out of 5 The 2021 BMW X4 is based on the X3 premium compact SUV/crossover. The most obvious place where they differ is around the back. The X3 is the sensible one, with a conventional SUV profile and plenty of headroom for both rows of seating. The X4 is the stylish one, sacrificing some usefulness for fastback flair. Yes, it’s the coupe aesthetic applied to a 4-door crossover. In common with the smaller X2 and larger X6, the X4’s more extrovert nature comes at extra cost. The xDrive30i is $6,600 more than a comparable X3. Generally speaking, though, the X4 range is in the same financial ballpark as its only real rival, the Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class Coupe. The X4 still has respectable space for people and their gear, as well as punchy engines and athletic abilities to get everyone and everything where they need to go without dawdling. And all X4 models come with all-wheel drive as standard, making them suitable for virtually any conditions. How Much Does the 2021 BMW X4 Cost? The 2021 BMW X4 xDrive30i has a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $51,600. A destination fee of $995 pushes that to $52,595. The 2021 X4 M40i starts at $62,695. Expect to pay more than $74k for an X4 M. Keep in mind these are just starting prices. Exterior colors other than white or black are an extra $550. It’s not hard to reach $78k by adding several desirable extras to an X4 M. And the Competition package is another $7,000 on top of that. Compared with the more practical BMW X3, the X4 charges an extra few thousand dollars for less interior space — but arguably more visual impact. These prices are nevertheless close to those of the X4’s primary rival, the Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class Coupe. Before buying, check the KBB.com Fair Purchase Price to see what others in your area are paying for their new X4. The BMW X4’s resale values are expected to hold up better than average over the years. Driving the 2021 BMW X4 Even though the 2021 X4 has the same eight inches of ground clearance as its X3 stablemate with the conventional roof (enough to help scramble over dirt and snow), the X4 feels better suited to the serious business of driving thrills. The entry-level xDrive30i has a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that’s gutsy enough to move this vehicle’s hefty 4,100 pounds from standstill to 60 mph in six seconds flat. That’s quick, especially for a crossover. All the time, the X4 feels confident and stable, making it possible to attack tight turns at higher speeds than in most other SUVs. Steering response (a traditional BMW specialty) feels well-weighted and informative. Sport mode optimizes steering, throttle, and transmission responses for spirited driving, yet doesn’t introduce any jarring feel at more leisurely paces. Highway drives in Comfort mode also reveal the X4 to be a pleasantly quiet cruiser. No one really needs the 382 horsepower of the M40i or the glorious 473 horsepower of the high-performance X4 M, but excess is a part of luxury. The X4 M40i rushes from standstill to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds. Not long ago, that was M3 territory. It also has an adaptive suspension with dynamic damper control to pretty much eliminate body roll and a differential lock to combat understeer (when the front wheels wash wide). The X4 M is 0.3 of a second faster to 60 mph and has a top speed of 173 mph. Or 177 mph with the Competition package that boosts output to 503 horsepower as well. Favorite Features LIVE COCKPIT PROFESSIONAL Standard in every X4, this all-digital setup features a wide and crisp 10.25-inch central display on the dash and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster. As well as working extremely well, it adds a high-end futuristic touch to the X4’s interior. M40i It isn’t necessary to spend extra on the M40i to have fun in an X4. The xDrive30i is already sporty. But the M40i’s handling, powerful engine, and popping exhaust help take the X4 to another level. And there’s a special something about an inline-6 engine. 2021 BMW X4 Interior The X4’s 5-seater cabin has that clean, contemporary, and premium-yet-understated feel that’s another BMW hallmark. The upholstery is offered in simulated leather or the real stuff, and in an array of colors. Tacora Red and Cognac really stand out. As mentioned in Favorite Features above, the latest iDrive 7.0 infotainment system includes digital displays. Many functions for the central screen are accessed by a rotary controller or by extra buttons to the right of the gear selector. Over the years, iDrive has become increasingly user-friendly. The front seats are comfortable and well-bolstered. Noise levels are muted to a pleasant hush. The asymmetrical transmission selector might be an acquired taste for some. The sloping roofline means about two fewer inches of headroom in the BMW X4 compared with the X3, but it’s still usable. Cargo space is also adequate for its size: 18.5 cubic feet behind the rear seats growing to over 50 with those seats folded. 2021 BMW X4 Exterior A curving roof differentiates the 2021 X4 from the squarer X3 SUV. That sweptback style isn’t for everyone, and it does compromise practicality. But this approach is just as valid as the Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class Coupe. And buyers have a greater array of choices, which is never a bad thing. LED exterior lighting is standard, along with dual exhaust outlets (four tailpipes on the X4 M). Wheel sizes range from 19 to 21 inches, with variants having their own specific designs. The xDrive30i has brushed aluminum accents at the front and sides, the M40i’s accents are in high-gloss black. Each model sports its own front fascia. The X4 M also has a special set of aerodynamic additions and is available in a few exclusive colors. 2021 BMW X4 Standard Features As the base model of the 2021 X4 range, the xDrive30i includes a dual-panel panoramic moonroof, powered tailgate, rain-sensing wipers, tri-zone automatic climate control, simulated leather upholstery, 10-way power-adjustable front seats, variable-ratio sport steering, front/rear parking sensors, and self-dimming mirrors. The X4 also has xDrive, BMW’s term for all-wheel drive. The standard infotainment system includes a 10.25-inch screen, navigation, Sirius XM with 360L, two USB ports, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration. Safety features include forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic low-speed braking, lane departure warning, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. New BMWs also include Ultimate Care, which covers three years/36,000 miles of complimentary maintenance. 2021 BMW X4 Options The hotter X4 M40i model has a 6-cylinder engine, M Sport performance exhaust, adaptive M suspension, upgraded brakes, aerodynamic exterior kit, 14-way power-adjustable front seats, hands-free tailgate operation, plus Wi-fi and wireless charging (both optional in the xDrive30i). Other options include adaptive cruise control with stop/go and partially autonomous driving, a head-up display, heated/ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, leather upholstery, 360-degree camera setup and parking assistance for parallel spaces, gesture control for the infotainment system, and a 16-speaker/600-watt Harman Kardon surround-sound system. Some of these features are standard in the X4 M. The M40i is also eligible for an M Sport rear differential to enhance the X4’s cornering talents. Again, this is standard in the X4 M. 2021 BMW X4 Engine The 2021 X4 xDrive30i has a turbocharged 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine making 248 horsepower, which is more than enough for most tastes. The M40i makes a great compromise between the entry-level X4 and the storming X4 M, with a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 (yet another BMW hallmark) generating 382 horsepower. The X4 M, a bona fide BMW M performance model, boosts that 6-cylinder unit as high as 503 horsepower. With any engine, every new BMW X4 has all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission. A stop/restart feature is also included to help save some fuel while idling, but it can be turned off if drivers find it irritating. Premium gasoline is recommended across the X4 range.

For something warm to dip into your soup that’s easy to prep while the pan’s on the hob, try these delicious Bulgarian cheese scone alternatives David Atherton Wed 25 Nov 2020 13.00 GMT 28 Soups can be slurped simply on their own, but I love having something to dunk. A loaf of fresh bread is perfect, but when you’re rustling up a quick soup, you want a quick alternative. The Bulgarian word sirenki basically translates to “something with cheese” and is very similar to a cheese scone. You can whip up a batch quickly once your soup is simmering and you’ll have yourself a perfect soup accompaniment. Sirene is a white brined cheese very po[CENSORED]r in Bulgaria. It is often stocked in eastern European or Turkish food stores, but it is similar to Greek feta cheese, which can be used as an alternative. Bulgarian yoghurt is world renowned and for this recipe you need a live yogurt to ensure you have the lactic acid bacteria to provide an acidic mix for the bicarb to boost. Makes 10 100g sweet potato 100g live natural yoghurt 300g plain flour 2 tsp bicarbonate of soda ½ tsp fine salt 1 tsp mustard powder 200g sirene (or feta) cheese Paprika to dust before baking Peel, chop and boil the sweet potato for 10 minutes. Although US President Donald Trump has yet to admit that he lost the election to his Democratic rival, Joe Biden; But, on Wednesday, he issued a presidential pardon for his former national security adviser, Michael Flynn, amid expectations of other pardons before he left office. Trump may use his broad authority to pardon, to include his allies, some relatives, and perhaps he personally. In an attempt to settle some legal issues before leaving the White House The US President’s tweets in recent years indicate that he is intending to pardon a number of officials who were subject to Counselor Robert Mueller's investigations regarding allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 US elections According to "Sky News Arabia," the question may be the most important looming on the horizon Is whether Trump will consider granting himself a presidential pardon, amid investigations into his business and money in New York, and the possibility that federal investigators will scrutinize his financial and tax activities after he left office. Constitutional law expert Kenneth Belkin says: “The US Constitution states that the US President’s ability to pardon is unlimited. Except for pardoning himself in the event of impeachment proceedings against him. But Belkin stressed that, "Trump will be able to pardon himself in federal cases only, and he will not be able to do so regarding his cases before the New York State Attorney and the Manhattan District Attorney, for example." Former Trump aides are divided over whether the US president will actually consider granting himself amnesty, and some see it as almost certain. While others think it is unlikely; Because doing so means that he is guilty of something Belkin pointed out that among those who may benefit from Trump's pardon campaign, "some former associates with his campaign, who were convicted after the Mueller investigation, such as George Papadopoulos, Paul Manafort and others." The constitutional law expert adds that “Trump may issue a preventive presidential pardon for his children. In anticipation of any future prosecutions against them. ” Trump has long believed that he has been targeted and campaigned illegally, and that his campaign partners have encountered problems because of their association with him. Sources say that other potential beneficiaries of Trump's pardon include Charles Kushner, Jared Kushner's father, as well as Trump's personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, who is under a federal investigation.

Microsoft has finally referred to its CloudPC service publicly Some more details have been revealed concerning Microsoft’s mysterious CloudPC service thanks to a recently posted support document. The document provides further confirmation that the service is in development, although few details remain available regarding how it will function. The document marks the first time that Microsoft has publicly referred to the “CloudPC” service, which previously had only been mentioned via unofficial leaks. Nevertheless, there is quite a bit of unsubstantiated information regarding CloudPC available. The service is expected to launch sometime in early 2021 and is expected to deliver a Desktop as a Service solution, giving business customers a modern, elastic, cloud-based Windows experience. It will be built on top of Windows Virtual Desktop and will see Microsoft manage the service, meaning that companies won’t have to look after Windows Updates or other maintenance. These are the best cloud computing solutions around today Here's our list of the best cloud hosting providers Also, see our list of the best web hosting providers for your website Not much to go on Thanks to Microsoft Azure, it is expected that CloudPC will be more advanced and easier to use than Windows Virtual Desktop and will allow users to remotely access their desktop from any device, including an iPhone or Android device. So far, we also know that CloudPC initially started life under the codename “Project Deschutes” and will be accessed via cloudpc.microsoft.com – currently, the web address simply leads to a placeholder page. CloudPC will be offered in three configurations: Lite, Standard and Advanced, with each one coming with varying levels of storage and RAM. For now, Microsoft is being very coy regarding the new service, forcing Windows fans to feed off scraps of information from job postings or support documents posted without much fanfare. It’s unlikely to be long, however, before a formal announcement is made, which should provide us with more information regarding the eagerly anticipated service.

ASRock launches Socket SP3 motherboard in 'Deep Mini-ITX' form-factor. Small form-factor desktop PCs powered by high-performance CPUs have become quite common in the recent years. But there is also demand for compact workstations and even servers. ASRock Rack has quietly unveiled one of the industry's first motherboards for AMD's EPYC 7002-series 'Rome' processors in the so-called 'Deep Mini-ITX' form-factor. The platform will enable system makers to build SFF systems with up to 64 cores. The ASRock ROMED4ID-2T features a socket SP3 and supports AMD's EPYC 7002-series processors in the LGA4094 packaging. The manufacturer does not disclose how much power the motherboard can deliver to the CPU or the list of processors compatible with the unit. But it is unlikely that this particular platform is designed for the highest-end EPYC chips. The motherboard has four DDR4 memory slots that support RDIMM and LRDIMM modules of up to 256GB capacities (to be validated) and therefore up to 1TB of DRAM in total at up to 3200 MT/s. The platform also features one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot for an accelerator or a graphics card, one M.2-2280 slot (PCIe 4.0 x4 or SATA) for SSDs and six slimline connectors for U.2 drives (PCIe 4.0 x8 or SATA). Internal I/O of the platform is good enough both for servers and workstations. In addition, it also carries the ASPeed AST2500 baseboard management controller (BMC). As for external I/O connectors, the ASRock ROMED4ID-2T has two 10 GbE ports (controlled by the Intel X550-AT2), one GbE connector, and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, which is good enough for servers, but hardly sufficient for most workstations. The 'Deep Mini-ITX' motherboard measures 6.7 inches × 8.2 inches (17 cm × 20.8 cm). Therefore the ASRock ROMED4ID-2T is not going to fit into typical Mini-ITX cases, but only into those which are designed for 'deeper' motherboards with extra space inside. The board will also fit into larger desktop as well as rack chassis. Traditionally, ASRock Rack produces motherboards for various system integrators, so it's highly likely that the ROMED4ID-2T was designed for a particular customer. Meanwhile, since it is listed on the company's website, it will also be available to all interested parties. ASRock has not revealed pricing of the platform, but this is a unique product that will come at an appropriate price. ASRock is known for making rather unique Mini-ITX motherboards. Several years ago, the company introduced one of the first Intel X299-powered Mini-ITX motherboard for enthusiasts. Back then, we enquired whether the company planned to release any Mini-ITX platforms for AMD's Ryzen Threadripper processors. Years later, ASRock's server division finally developed a 'Deep Mini-ITX' motherboard with a socket SP3 -- albeit for AMD's EPYC CPUs rather than the more mainstream Threadripper line.
