Musician Name:Lalisa Manobal Birthday / Location: Pranpriya Manoban March 27, 1997 (age 26) Buriram, Thailand Main instrument: Kpop Pop Hip-hop Musician Picture: Musician Awards & Nominations:- Best Performance: - Other Information: Lalisa Manobal (Thai: ลลิษา มโนบาล; also spelled Manoban; born Pranpriya Manobal (Thai: ปราณปรียา มโนบาล); Buri Ram, Thailand; March 27, 1997), better known by her stage name Lisa (Hangul: 리사), is a Thai singer and dancer. As an only child, she was raised by her Thai mother and Swiss stepfather. Lisa's mother is called Chitthip Brüschweiler. Her stepfather is Marco Brüschweiler, a renowned chef currently active in Thailand. Lisa completed her secondary education at Praphamontree School I and II. iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max were launched by the company at its 'Wonderlust' launch event earlier this week, and the handsets are currently the most powerful smartphones to be released by the Cupertino company. Pre-orders for the smartphones will begin on Friday and the phones are set to go on sale on September 22, but details of the smartphones' performance have already surfaced online. Thanks to new listings for both smartphones on a benchmarking website, we can understand the improvement in performance compared to last year's models. Geekbench listings for two smartphones, titled "iPhone16,1" and "iPhone 16,2" have surfaced on the website — these names refer to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, respectively. The oldest entry shows for the iPhone 15 Pro shows the smartphone achieved a score of 2,908 in the single-core test and 7,238 in the multi-core test. Meanwhile, the most recent entry for the iPhone 14 Pro on Geekbench shows the phone scored 2,608 in the single-core test and 6,673 in the multi-core test. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Pro Max scored 2,846 and 7,024 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. In comparison, a recent iPhone 14 Pro Max listing shows the phone scored 2,641 points in the single-core test and 6,989 points in the multi-core benchmark test. The listings for both phones show they are running on iOS 17, which will roll out to users on September 18. If we compare the performance scores of the iPhone 15 Pro with its predecessor, it is evident that there is an increase of roughly 11 percent and 8 percent in the single-core test and multi-core tests, respectively. In the case of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, these figures are slightly lower at 7 percent and 1 percent. Both the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max benchmark entries show the phones are equipped with a chipset that has six cores and a peak clock speed of 3.78GHz — the A17 Pro. The A16 Bionic chip powering the iPhone 14 Pro models has a clock speed of 3.46GHz. The smartphones are also listed to feature "7.50GB" — or 8GB of RAM. The details of the handset's RAM configuration provided in the listings are in line with a recent report that claimed that Apple has equipped its new iPhone Pro models with 8GB of RAM — the company doesn't typically disclose the amount of RAM in its smartphones. The benchmark scores suggest the handsets offer a modest jump in performance over last year's Pro models, despite Apple's move to the next-generation A17 Pro chip that is based on a 3nm process. However, it is worth taking these benchmarks with a pinch of salt as the company is yet to offer the smartphones to consumers and we should see more benchmarks with the smartphones appear over the coming weeks.

Microsoft Edge could drastically change the way we interact with written content on the web with a new AI writing feature that copies existing content and regurgitates the information in a more ‘personal’ tone at the click of a button. According to Windows Latest, the GPT-4-powered feature allows users to select text on a webpage and have it rewritten in a tone and length of their choice. Microsoft Edge’s AI offers customizable tones like professional, casual, enthusiastic and informational, as well as format options that include a simple paragraph, email or blog post layout. The feature is integrated into the browser itself, allowing more users to access it much quicker. This is helpful if you want to generate ideas or make a quick change to the tone. So far Microsoft has been testing the feature with a small group of users in the Canary version of Chromium Edge, so we’ll have to wait and see if the feature ends up making its way officially to Microsoft Edge. It’s not all bad is it? I don’t mean to harp on about the doom and gloom aspect of a feature like this, but we do have to think about the negatives of AI before the positives because once the technology is out there, it can’t be taken back. Microsoft Edge’s AI could allow more people to break into blog writing who may feel a little nervous about getting their work out there without any mistakes in the copy. It would be useful while you’re researching and looking for a springboard for ideas and would help write boring but important emails without too much effort. However, because the tool is web-integrated and uses text on the web, it’ll become virtually impossible to detect whether or not a person's blog email or pitch has been plagiarized and AI-generated. Anyone could feed the tool a site’s copy, alter it slightly super quickly and pass it off as their own without any of the skill or hard work that goes into actually writing their own work. Microsoft’s efforts to cram artificial intelligence into its own products as quickly as possible, particularly after the success of Bing AI could have some unforeseen repercussions if it’s not careful. We can only hope that if Edge AI writer does make its debut, it proves me wrong and stays a writing tool, not a crutch.

Asus has announced a new RTX 4070 graphics card and a couple of B760 motherboards featuring hidden power connectors that will launch on Sept. 15, according to IT Home. The new products include the Tianxuan TX Gaming RTX 4070 graphics card, the first cable-less GPU to hit the market, and two new B760 motherboards. These new components will most likely be limited to the Asian market, at least for now. We first learned the new GPUs were in production a few months ago. The new products take inspiration from Asus' new "Back-to-Future" (BTF) product stack that is designed to improve the aesthetic appeal of PC components by hiding or replacing all visible power connectors that might be present in a system. For motherboards, this includes redirecting the 24-pin and EPS power connectors to the rear of the PCB, allowing all power supply cables to be managed from the rear of the case alone. For graphics cards, PCIe supplemental power connectors have been removed entirely in favor of a custom HPCE power connector that draws power straight from the motherboard itself. By extension, this also means that BTF-branded motherboards are equipped with the same connector, but not all boards will apparently support the HPCE connector specifically. For instance, Asus' TUF Gaming Z790 concept motherboard features the connector, but its B760M-BTF WIFI board does not. Cases are also mixed into the BTF series, due to the fact that extra space behind the motherboard tray is required to exist so that power supply cables have enough room to be plugged into the rear power connectors on a BTF motherboard. For now, Asus has two BTF cases on its product page: the Asus A21 and the TUF Gaming GT502 Concept Case. The Tianxuan TX Gaming B760-BTF WiFi motherboard and the Tianxuan RTX 4070 graphics card are anime-themed. The TUF Gaming B760M-BTF WiFi Shadowraider board features a black design, while the Tianxuan TX Gaming B760-BTF WiFi board comes in a white theme featuring cyan accents. Both boards offer 12+1 power delivery systems, and PCIe Gen 5 support. The Tianxuan RTX 4070 takes on the same appearance as the TX board, featuring a white triple-fan cooling solution with cyan accents. Both B760 boards and the 4070 feature an HPCE power connector, allowing the RTX 4070 to draw power directly from the motherboard without a physical PCIe supplementary power cable. Asus also announced RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4060 variants with the same triple-fan cooling solution, but these lower-end cards do not feature the HPCE power connector. Since none of these Tianxuan-themed components are visible from Asus's US website, it appears these components will be exclusive to the Asian market. Pricing for the B760 motherboards is currently unknown, but the graphics cards will cost 5289 Yuan (~$728 USD) for the RTX 4070, 3789 Yuan (~$522 USD) for the RTX 4060 Ti, and 2789 Yuan (~$384 USD) for the RTX 4060.

The Apple Vision Pro has caused quite a stir since it was announced at WWDC 2023, and its odd-but-captivating design has prompted several competitors to begin development of their own premium AR headsets, including Meta. The rumors swirling around the supposed Meta headset suggest that the company has partnered with LG to launch the mixed reality device at some point in 2025, with pricing set lower than the staggering price point of $3,499 of the Apple Vision Pro. Wccftech reports that the potential headset will feature the same ‘Pro’ tag, with the official name said to be the Quest 4 Pro. The partnership between LG and Meta mirrors that of Apple and Sony, so we can expect LG to be in charge of display production. More choice is always welcome With the potential launch date set for a few years from now, it seems likely that Meta intends to see how consumers take to the Apple Vision Pro. The report from Wccftech suggests that a cheaper model of Meta’s headset will retail for $200 in 2024, with the Quest 4 Pro following a year later at an undisclosed price. While there are still a lot of mixed feelings surrounding the Apple Vision Pro leading up to the launch, it could be a good sign that other tech companies are looking into offering cheaper alternatives. Apple may be able to argue that the high cost of its headset is a result of the premium design and features offered, but if competitors like Meta could jump on the wagon and provide something similar for cheaper, Apple should start feeling a little nervous.

According to a Bloomberg report, quoting "people familiar with the situation" Arm's upcoming IPO has garnered impressive backing from industry stalwarts, such as Apple, Nvidia, Intel, and Samsung as Softbank Group is preparing for a public offering. The anticipated IPO, valued between $60 billion and $70 billion, promises significant shifts in the tech industry landscape as it will show whether investors are ready to invest in new chip stocks. As the news comes from an unofficial source, take it with a pinch of salt. SoftBank has seemingly secured endorsements from major technology firms that happen to be major Arm licensees, like Apple, AMD, Cadence, Intel, Google, Nvidia, Samsung, and Synopsys for Arm's public offering. These industry giants could infuse between $25 million and $100 million each, indicating strong faith in the chip company's potential. Originally, SoftBank intended to garner between $8 billion to $10 billion through the IPO. However, after a strategic decision to retain a more significant share of Arm, this target was recalibrated to a fundraising goal of $5 billion to $7 billion. SoftBank's acquisition of the Vision Fund's stake in Arm solidified the company's valuation at a commendable $64 billion. The success of Arm's public market debut is of paramount importance to SoftBank and its CEO, Masayoshi Son. After the Vision Fund's hefty loss of $30 billion in the previous fiscal year, a flourishing IPO could be a much-needed win for the conglomerate. Moreover, a successful listing for Arm might act as a catalyst, propelling other firms, including Instacart, Klaviyo, and Birkenstock, to consider their public offerings. Masayoshi Son is reportedly keen on maintaining significant control over Arm, not wishing to release more than 10% of the company during this initial phase. This aligns with SoftBank's recent decision to buy the Vision Fund's stake in Arm, a move underscoring the conglomerate's belief in Arm's long-term viability. In preparation for the impending IPO, Arm has enlisted the services of global financial behemoths. Leading the charge on this offering are Barclays, Goldman Sachs Group, JPMorgan Chase & Co, and Mizuho Financial Group, a testament to Arm's global appeal and the potential windfall banks anticipate from the deal.

It seems there's a visual revamp for Google Maps underway, which you might have already noticed on your phone – and the new color scheme being used on the maps makes the interface look a lot more like Apple Maps. Google hasn't said anything officially yet, but 9to5Google and others (including some of the TechRadar team) have noticed the refresh. At this stage it's not clear if the new look is being tested or is here to stay. Rather than white roads and a gray background, Google Maps has now switched to gray roads and a white background, like Apple Maps. The blue of oceans and lakes has been brightened too, which again evokes the rival mapping app. Greens are darker too, while navigation uses a dark blue route arrow rather than a lighter blue one (which can turn yellow or red, depending on traffic). There are tweaks in the app to the bottom bar as well, with a smaller series of tabs under the map. Three-year cycle As Ars Technica points out, we haven't seen a visual refresh like this for Google Maps since 2020. The one before that was 2017, so if this is indeed a permanent change, then it would fit in with the scheduling of previous updates. Not everyone has the update yet, according to Android Police, so it would seem to be a staggered roll out that isn't hitting all devices at the same time. If you haven't got it yet, try updating the Google Maps app on your phone. As for the adoption of the Apple Maps color scheme, it's pretty obvious – but no doubt the focus groups run by both Apple and Google have come to the same conclusions about what colors work best for the human eye when it comes to maps. Similar looking apps have another benefit for Google and Apple too: they make it easier for people to switch. If Google makes any official announcement on any of this, we'll update this article to reflect that.
